Is B/K/C not that hard to get anymore?

It was black? Sorry I forgot to put that. And for the reasons above I disliked it. I am not good with fussy

It really is a matter of personal preference. I sold 5 Kelly’s in different sizes, colors and leathers. I finally realized that it had nothing to do with size/color/leather and everything to do with the style of the bag. I hate having to get in/out of it - it’s super fussy. Love the bag, hate the fuss. I do love the birkin 30. The open tote works the best for my lifestyle.

My SA knows the wife prefers Kelly bags because of the ability to wear crossbody. Most of her offers are Kelly heavy and then a Birkin comes into the mix here and there. No urge of Constance so we don’t get them offered. The one time the wife asked the SA said “it’s not you. Don’t bother”.
But Constance can be carried crossbody too? And love how lightweight it is. I've been using it a lot lately and it handled our Japan trip fairly well. I don't see myself taking my K anywhere without a car-in car-out option.

My wife is 5’10 so it sits too high crossbody. On top of that, she likes the ability to remove the strap when she wants to go out and carry in a more formal manner.

Interesting! Sorry to hear you don't like it. I'm not a fussy person either and for the same exact reason I am scared to get a Kelly. I think another B or a C would be perfect for me.
One of the first visits I had to H when I was buying other bags, I was next to a woman who was carrying her halzan in a beautiful blue. I said, what other bags do you really like? She said she waited all this time to get one of the big bags, was offered a kelly, used it once and stuck it in her closet where it stayed. So she said she went back to what she thought was the easiest to use, her halzan.

In 2009, I made my first visit to my local H store. I had never bought anything H and went in to aquire about the price for a croc K pochette. The SA said they did not have any but would check the price with Paris and explained about their ordering process. She did have a K pochette in regular leather on the shelf which she offered to me. I was not interested in that one so I did not buy. Unfortunatelly the price for the K pochette in croc was really expensive and I had just started my journey into designer goods so I passed. It was not until 2013 that I came back to the H store after having gone through many other brands. I have to admit I still long for a croc bag but have never asked them again, I believe it is more difficult for them to aquire one. Nowdays you never see any B/K bags on the stores shelf. I have only seen a croc Constance and that was a few years ago.

I know! I wanted a birkin (I have plenty but from resellers cuz I am so specific on color) but I thought, wow kelly seems to be where it’s at these days. And a black kelly ghw would be iconic for my first official offering right? So I caved, and even that night I was irritated with trying to open and close the darn thing! I am into easy and maintenance free, so I think you’re right. Birkin will hopefully be next in some amazing color (like evergreen). And I will know to stick with what I like from now on. But I got caught up in it all!
Have you tried leaving the kelly open like the Birkin or does it just get too lopsided and insecure? Maybe a bag organizer with zipper would help and so you could still have the bag open?

Ha! My SA always tells me what is "me" and what is not. She is frighteningly accurate!!! I have learned to trust her completely.

Some days yes, some days no. I think people fear another recession like 2008 and that's why there is this ambiguity, is it coming or not?
Can't speak globally, but Europe (and UK now with Brexit no-deal) are still as volatile as a Champagne glass exposed to wind.
Apart from Germany all Banks are or close to bankrupt, that's why everyone loved Mario Draghi and everyone is afraid of what will happen when he leaves end of year. Same with Junker.
If another minor crisis happens in the US, Europe will fall 100%.
