It’s seemingly a moot post now because the two posts before mine brought it back up were deleted. Someone made the thread active again asking a similar question to the OP. I wasn’t responding to the op but to the posts that are now deleted…

Noobs (me included) are constantly told to search the forum for threads so maybe now that this one is still up some new person can see it if they have the same question.

Perhaps if a person only wants one H BK, then maybe. But, in 2008, I was positive that I would only have one vintage BBK28, bought at a very good price in the secondary market, and never buy anything else, which turned out to be a huge miscalculation lol. I also see reseller prices softening due to recession or other market conditions esp. for this size B. So, if it were me, I would search long and hard, and perhaps wait it out. Having said that, I missed a few bags, like a toile barenia B30, phw and a black, white, and gray vibrato Box k28, phw, bc I thought prices would go lower, and I was mistaken. I think whether to spend this much on a B30 is truly an individual choice.

ETA: this price might seem more reasonable to TPFers located in the EU

Resellers price on rarity.
If you are too specific especially for popular types or rare hardware, you wait longer for Hermes to give you the bag or an S/O, given the current supply chain issues, maybe even longer plus tolerate price increase.

If your heart is dead set on those specifications and you don’t want to wait, you pay the reseller (not that I encourage reselling or buying from resellers).

Current economic situation: quite a few scams are running in a few countries, so if anyone wants to buy secondhand, go to a local brick and mortar reselling shop.
