After seeing Alexa’s post about what’s included in the $600 limit for selling stuff this year, I emailed Posh to confirm this (hoping that they are doing it differently

). Unfortunately, they do it the same way as Alexa described for EB. This will hurt my attempt to sell off a few more bags to reach a “good number”. Here’s the reply I got from Posh.

Thanks for reaching out to us! It will include shipping and tax. Beginning in January 2022, Poshmark is required to provide any seller with $600 or more in gross sales on our platform during the 2022 calendar year with a Form 1099-K.
If you meet the $600 gross sales threshold for the 2022 calendar year (including fees, shipping costs, sales tax, refunds, and canceled orders), you will receive an in-app notification from Poshmark asking you to update your account with certain taxpayer information. You should only provide this information in-app or while logged in on the web.
