I still have things listed but nothing has sold in over 6 months. I haven't added anything else. I'm doing most of my selling on PM these days because of the flat rate cheap shipping. I've been listings books and toys. I've been cleaning out my kids' rooms.
(Me....secretly wishing I knew all of Whateve's seller names for the different sites!)

I don't really have very many drool worthy Coach items listed anymore. I've slowed way down on buying. I am better at getting things I know I'll keep. I'm not buying things with the idea that I could always sell if it doesn't work out.

Thanks for this info. I thought it was based on earnings you made so now I can’t sell everything at the prices I listed (not that anyone is buying at those prices ) because it would total more than $600. This will force me to take ridiculous offers  or take some of the items to EB (not sure if they issue payment in check form vs PayPal or bank only). This is so frustrating.
Seriously! I didn't know they were counting sales tax! They really should use the net amount you actually receive from them.
I think if you spread your items out among different selling platforms you could end up under $600 for each site, and then it wouldn't get reported. I've got mine listed on 6 sites, but some aren't getting any activity, like Tradesy.

Did you hear Tradesy got bought out by Vestiaire Collective?
Yeah, it sucks. I have been carefully adding up as I go for my 3 sites I can sell at, and I always add on extra over the listing for the shipping and taxes when I am calculating my numbers, to make sure I don't go over $600--and that matches their sales report info. I think I have maybe $25 room on each of the sites so I am done to avoid going over $600 on any of them. I know that both Mercari and Ebay show the amounts for selling with the taxes and shipping, and Posh has at least the shipping because the numbers added up to what I expected from the other sites.

I had two more items on ebay and realized that I would go over so pulled them a while ago. Any other items I have been selling have been through more informal methods.

Ebay does require your bank info when you sell something, or at least it appears so.

So yep it adds up fast!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! My youngest made sure to pinch everyone before we got dressed this morning. He was sweet and gave painless pinches but thought it was really funny. As soon as he got out of the shower just now, wrapped in a not-green towel, one of his brothers was waiting and got him.
That is cute! I totally forgot off and on it was St Patrick's day. I would remember, forget, remember, lol! My mom's birthday was on St Patrick's day so it is nice to remember her on this day. This May it will be 20 years since she passed away.

Agreed. Though I hate the not being able to sell thing, it does help me to be more cautious. I do miss selling nice bags though

Is there a place on each of these sites to see the totals they would report?

I'm so sorry for your loss. She must have been young. My grandmother passed away on a St. Patrick's Day.

Most of them have a place in the sales section that you can run a sales report. Some of them are easier than others to just run for this year. It will download an excel looking file for you to look at. I had been calculating mine carefully and also doing the report.

Happy St Patrick’s Day to you and everyone :). I forgot about pinching people’s behind on S P Day  — such a fun practice.

Ugh... meant to be on a ban and enjoying what I have but I keep seeing bags I want! A taupe courier carryall 23 just popped up on uk eBay on auction and it's already at seven bids. What do?!
Watch it and only bid if it stays in bargain territory.

I passed up a small ergo at the outlet today. I also resisted a quilted mini Willis. It was a weird color, red apple, kind of like rhubarb. I decided the bag looks too small on me, like a toy. I much prefer the look of the KS bag I was wearing.

I ended up buying a bag that really is a toy - the micro venturer and a square scarf. I was able to use $20 off on each item because they let DH use coupons too. The mini bag was around $25 and the scarf around $20. I probably wouldn't have gotten anything if I hadn't had the coupons. I almost got some socks - before the coupon but on sale, they were $13 per pair. I'm happy with Target socks. This bag would be perfect for Barbie when she goes away for the weekend! I have no idea what I'll use it for. I wish the clip was removable.20220318_145221.jpg

ETA: I was kind of disappointed/surprised that they just threw the stuff in the bag without tissue or putting in dust bags.
