I was about to bite the bullet but a covid scare kept me home! Got tested today and thankfully I’m negative for both the virus and bag purchases so far.

Fingers crossed for the rest of the year!

Glad to hear you tested negative. I was feeling a couple symptoms at a low level and thought I should just test. Well, there were none to be had for at least 8 days from that date. I figure I might as well not do it. They seemed more related to being exhausted, but who knows. Fortunately I am working from home and church is back online.

Day 3 of 2022 and I haven’t bought a bag. This year is a great success so far

I’m using my new spearmint Dooney satchel today and it’s making me so happy. Very happy with this purchase.

One of my poor kitties seems to have an infected tooth so she is going to the vet today. A couple of years ago the vet warned she may need more teeth out so it may be at that point. She hasn’t let it stop her from eating yet though, she loves food lol

Hope your kitty is ok! Dooney spearmint is such a pretty color. Enjoy your new pretty!

Glad to hear the pink PM wears well . I used to sell my contemporary bags but stopped for a few years due to being too busy and also at a good place with my contemporary bags. But I bought so many new Coach last year (thanks to FOS ) that I am out of storage space. So no choice but to sell off a few. Congrats on your new bag and sorry about your ban  — looking forward to seeing it.

Will you be speed dating any before they go on the sell list?

Hi ML! I've been thinking about you a lot as well. The first semester was ok. Some anxiety for me about going into several buildings daily and what that could mean for my guys at home. The kids in school are not quite relating to each other and their teachers as they used to, and that's understandable... We are now back online for two weeks which is good and bad for all. Our kids need to be in school, but the cases in our area are higher now than at the peak in 2020. Our governor has declared a 30 day state of emergency. Each school system has decided what to do with their students. We'll see what happens when the two week period is over. I have decided not to worry about it until we get there. I just keep thinking of all the frontline workers... I can't imagine how exhausted they are.
Hi C. That’s a lot. You’re all going through a lot right now. I understand about visiting several buildings as part of your job. I have a dear friend who goes to a few buildings and I know it’s worrisome. It’s not right to be anxious about going to go to work.

I feel sad about the teachers and kids. Relationships are hard right now because everyone is so scared and the staff are stressed. No one can relax. It’s been such a long time since we’ve had normal. And people are just so tired of the whole thing.

I’m sorry to hear your case counts are so high. Ours are very high as well. The struggle between online and in-person instruction has never been greater. We are returning to school on Monday. We had an extra four days to prepare for online instruction, plan ahead for substitute teachers and all that. But so many teachers I know are sick with Covid right now. Don’t know how they will do that preparation plus be working full-time next week.

I am very worried about our return to school.

Thanks — will do . I have accepted all offers up to now no matter the dollar amounts but for some reason this time, I felt like not accepting and counteroffering. Oh well, I didn’t make a sale as a result.

I know what you mean about needing some retail therapy (a little too well ). It is even harder to resist when they drop the prices, right? I can’t remember what you decided last time when you thought about getting the light color Ergo. Stay strong and good luck. And hang in there with the weather and the homeschooling MK .

Stand your ground! You’ll get another offer and it’s best to wait for what you think is a fair price.

I decided against the Ergo and am not really thinking about it anymore. Fingers crossed those devilish thoughts stay away!

Yes kinda . I went out with some while others, I just took a good long hard look and found flaws/wear that I decided I can no long live with (since I got so many brand new ones in 2021, no point in using ones with notable wear). A somewhat difficult part is that I like to have an even number (or a divisible number) of bags (think I mentioned this unusual/weird quark before ). So I never want to have say, 53 bags (And No, I don’t have that many in my primary collection ). So a part of the process is figuring out how to downsize to a “good” number while allowing room for 1 or 2 more in the distant future.

Unfortunately my bad employment situation has only been downward spiralling so I'm doing my best whilst mentally preparing to end up having a big life change.
:( That is so stressful. Hopefully any changes turn out to be good ones. You're doing the right thing doing your best, and if it doesn't work out with this place, I hope you find something that makes you happy and is better than where you are now.

I am sorry to hear about your bad work situation. I hope that something good will come your way soon. Hang in there.
