I have exciting good news and not so good sad news. The vinyl sidings are finally going up on the house. It's only half done and looks so good! I panicked a lot when the trim came in which are "linen" and the sales guy convinced me it would look "fine". :annoyed: I decided to give it a chance and once the material came in it looked exactly what I feared it would look like: 80s computers bone color. :panic: :annoyed: I had to get it all changed before they even got a chance to use the linen trim. I knew I would hate it and be ok with just "fine'.. luckily for us they had everything in stock in glacier white and we didn't have to pay anything extra. I knew I would hate coming home to see the warm linen tone which I could see clashed with the cool tone of the cape cod gray siding we chose.

The pic isn't great as it's overcast here. But yeah no bone or linen for us. Phew! So glad I got it changed last minute.

As for the sad news.. my nextdoor neighbors GSD has cancer in her lungs. It's inoperable. I don't know other details yet except the cancerous growths are the size of a cherry a two pea sized mass. I'm so sad. That dog is just as much as my dog cuz I walk her every day and she always comes over to hang out with our dogs.
Gray and white are my favorite colors for a house. I'm glad you got it changed. I wish I could get all our outlets and light switches changed. Some are still that ugly bone color.

Glad you got the color you wanted. So sorry about the pup. How sad.

I hate that! Which site? I've missed sales on Mercari because they don't send me notifications. PM has been great about notifications.
That is strange. It might just be something in your settings, as I get notifications for every offer, sale , chat, etc. Or maybe it is a technical issue that only affects some users.

I've checked my settings and can't find anything wrong. I've got the app on my tablet and I don't get notifications on there for everything. I get notifications if I make a sale, but not for offers, on either the tablet or on the desktop when I have it open. I have to keep checking my messages on Mercari to see if there is an offer.

Ugh, that sounds really hard. This just keeps going and it's difficult to stay positive. Lately I've taken to process just one day at a time. I can't handle more than that sometimes. Just to what you can. Hang in there mamma. :hugs:

Thank you, that’s great advice ❤️ I’m going to do the same. It really is too much thinking about all this scary news and I think a lot of us end up worrying about scenarios that may never even come up.

Sorry to hear about your DS’s extended winter break but you are probably right in that keeping him at home a bit longer may be safer for his health. Good luck with and have fun doing various projects with him. Yikes about your move — moving is always stressful for me. But it will all work out and it will be great after you get settled. You can do it MK . Hope you get your sweet treat soon (I find a sweet treat most comforting when I am stressed or during a pandemic  — not saying that’s the best thing but just being honest).

Thank you ❤️ I made a whole pan of brownies today. From now until the crack of 2022, calories and purchases do not count.

My neighbor just dropped off banana nut bread. I had a slice with lunch and again with dinner. However, I just took over the kids play area in the basement to turn into a home gym since they never go on the basement to go play. So hopefully I'll be burning off the calories so they don't stick to me.
