Thanks BBG. This is the odeon (a remake of the original Odeon). I chose the larger size and also chose black trim instead of aged vachetta trim. I went back and forth on a few different choices for a couple of months but finally decided on this.

Good choice with the black trim.

OK, just took some pictures of the only bag I am buying this year (no joke). I don't do a lot of monogram bags often opting for other LV prints/leather. I also resisted this new release since it seems to be real popular (and I usually go for non-popular LV bags ). But in the end, I decided this fits so many of my requirements — shoulder carry, zippered top, large outside pocket, ample room inside for all my junk, no vachetta, Black/mono combo. It comes with a long strap but I plan to wear it like a hobo with a short non-LV strap (using this other strap here until I can find another one). I can remove the luggage tag and put a bag charm there.

So I just realized I have paid off my credit card, paid all my bills for the month and next, already purchased a KS tote for my sister's upcoming birthday, and I am getting paid again next week. What could go wrong on a holiday sales weekend?

I wanted to wait too before buying it but I didn’t wait due to the price increase rumors (if true, Sept/Oct, who knows if true?). I hope you and your fam are well .

OK thanks A for sharing (and confirming indirectly that I have enough closet space but need to purge some/a lot ). I admit that I have “some“ clothes I don’t wear very often (I can think of 3 tops with tags still attached and 3 others w/ tags cut but not worn yet ). My dresser in the bedroom holds my socks, underthings, etc, no clothes. I need to work on purging some more (I did a little bit earlier in the summer so I was able to move 3/4 of my bags from the guest room back to my room ).

I'm joining you in the purging. I already got rid of some, but apparently I still have too many clothes. Problem is, there are only a few I really want to part with. Am I starting to sound like a hoarder?

I actually need new clothes , and especially a warm winter coat, with the lost weight my coat is huge on me, and its one of those that needs to be close to your body to keep you warm, i was thinking going on poshmark but I am not quite sure what size I am anymore and also I use sweaters and thicker shirts during winter, I took out all my clothes items that are super huge but just put them in the storage, I am afraid of gaining weight (my forever fear) and then having nothing that fits me

Great haul! I love all the pretty things you got. I had that colorful tote in my cart for a while during the sale back in July. I thought too long about it, and it sold out right from under my nose. Enjoy all your new pretties!

Thanks so much, TO! I really enjoy carrying a lovely handbag to work. Today I used both my new bags and it was pretty fun! I am wearing my new rings while doing some work on the computer. I like the sparkle and it gives me a chance to admire my rings and hands (which are so much better this summer). Funny, I've been talking a lot the past few days as we've had professional development back in our building and I have definitely taken a few cough drops already.

Hey, HS, good to hear from you! I'm missing my lovely Coach bags, but I feel I must carry something that can handle constant wiping down. I must say I am enjoying my Kate Spade Margaux. I like how it sits up and it's easy to find what I need.

Thanks. I was going to custom order a black leather one from McCraft/Etsy. This strap is from a black leather shoulder bag I have. I took a picture of (sloppy/frumpy) me wearing it as a hobo — I really love it.

It's really great on you! I love the size! That drop drop is my preferred in a bag. The strap is short, but it does not hit directly under the arm. Perfect!

Sounds like a trip to the store is in order. Nothing like trying it on and knowing how it fits. With something like that, I prefer to buy from a store where I can return if it doesn't fit. Unless, of course, you already know it fits well.
