Back to your original question about closet space.... our closet is one where it runs along the shorter wall of our room, and has two sets of the double doors (the smaller closet size ones, not the larger ones like for a laundry area or something). So I would guess my half of that (as my husband uses one side and I use the other) is a little over 1/2 your size of closet. I have all of my shirts that I would wear out and about--for both warm weather and cold weather hanging in there, along with dress pants and a few dresses. (including the tshirts we just talked about). And it all fits fine. I do purge regularly--if there is something not being worn or I don't care for it as much any more I will donate it. But it holds quite a bit.

The stuff I keep in my dresser are things like workout wear, lounge tshirts and shorts/sweats, jeans and shorts.

So I think you should be able to put your tshirts in there or at least your most used ones. It is very possible you have some clothes you could purge that you don't wear anymore
OK thanks A for sharing (and confirming indirectly that I have enough closet space but need to purge some/a lot ). I admit that I have “some“ clothes I don’t wear very often (I can think of 3 tops with tags still attached and 3 others w/ tags cut but not worn yet ). My dresser in the bedroom holds my socks, underthings, etc, no clothes. I need to work on purging some more (I did a little bit earlier in the summer so I was able to move 3/4 of my bags from the guest room back to my room ).

lol! I think this quarantine situation should make it easier. Even when you go out more later on, it makes it feel like you need a little less than we thought we needed before. I finally got rid of a few of my dress pants since I haven't had to wear them for the last few years. I did keep some pairs so that I would have them if I work someplace that doesn't allow jeans or have to go in person again. But previous to the quarantine, my lastest job allowed jeans which made me so happy :-)

The other day I also got rid of a few dress shoes--again leaving a few, but I didn't need all of them.

That sounds great you made that much space for your bags this summer.... so you are well on your way. I have my bags on the shelf above my clothes, and many of my dinky bags in a drawer because they are small and fit there. But I have gotten my collection down to 4 Cassie bags, 2 Tabby 26, 1 Dreamer, and many Dinky bags :-)

Good luck!

This sounds similar to our closet which has 2 sliding doors. I love the idea of a walk in closet (or @Syren 's dressing room!) but I do appreciate being able to see everything at once in our shallower closet.

Let's just say we will consider this my back to school shopping.

The Kate Spade tote I mentioned I was looking at earlier this summer was on a big sale in July. It's packed already for school even though I don't start officially for a couple of weeks.

This big print is a real change for me but I think we will go along happily together. LT, I think your tote is the better purchase because you also got a pretty tag, too, but my store didn't have anything like yours. And Kate Spade doesn't seem to be selling purse charms any more! I need some for my KS bags.

I am in a small flutter about what handbag to carry to work when school opens. We will have a lot of cleaning protocols, and if it's anything like June, I'll be handling a lot of sanitizers and disinfectants to clean the children's toys. My hands were in bad shape after four weeks of cleaning.

I like to carry a separate handbag but which one? I don't want to carry my Louis Vuitton as two of my Speedies have vachetta handles and I don't think think the raw leather and hand sanitizer get on very well. I didn't know if I wanted to carry my Rogues...all that lovely pebbled leather and smooth leather handles. So back to Kate Spade.

The Margaux is a bag I've had my eye on for awhile. It's very structured, and although the leather looks pebbled, it's quite tough. Not soft like my Rogues. But easily wipe-able. It was in the "Sale on Sale" so an additional 40% off sale prices. Not all colours of the Margaux are on sale but I love a good navy so I'm pleased. It's just a basic carryall style and should do nicely for the interim. I now have three Kate Spade bags (beautiful plum Lottie is the third) and that's a good sized collection now: satchel, carryall and tote. Wish I could say the same for my Coach collection!

Do you like my summer dahlias? This is their second year and are becoming more abundant. I just love this pink colour.

Oh, I forgot about my rings I bought at Kate Spade as well.

I need to pay more attention. These rings were on display together but I thought they were a collection of three. Imagine my surprise at the till to find the top ring with the pearls is a separate ring, and the bottom two are a set. Anyhow, I had to have all three because they looked so cute together.

Here's something cute from the Coach outlet. I showed you my clear signature large pouch, but I also bought this cute mini cosmetic bag.

It's a small cosmetic bag but so cute!

I was at the outlet because I had purchased a necklace from the FOS for my friend's 50th. When it came in the mail, it was way too short. So I went back to return it and found another lovely, long necklace with pave C's for her. I'm sorry I don't have a photo of the necklace (too much happening at once) but it was very lovely and much appreciated as she has been coveting my Coach long chains for a long time.

My mini. I can also squeeze in two hair ties and a glass cleaning cloth. I didn't show you my two half finished packages of cough drops but that fits in as well.

That's it for now. My last purchase is on it's way...a planner for work from Rifle & Co.

I hope everyone is doing well!

I have some Rifle Paper pencils that I found today, I was in my closet and I have a box of "stuff" asked my daughter if she wanted them and she told me she only uses mechanical pencils...was wondering if you would want them to match your planner

Hooray! Now where are the pictures?

OK, just took some pictures of the only bag I am buying this year (no joke). I don't do a lot of monogram bags often opting for other LV prints/leather. I also resisted this new release since it seems to be real popular (and I usually go for non-popular LV bags ). But in the end, I decided this fits so many of my requirements — shoulder carry, zippered top, large outside pocket, ample room inside for all my junk, no vachetta, Black/mono combo. It comes with a long strap but I plan to wear it like a hobo with a short non-LV strap (using this other strap here until I can find another one). I can remove the luggage tag and put a bag charm there.
