Cat update. We are keeping Max (his name). We let them know on Saturday, and then went and bought some new items for him. He just seemed really happy and liked our quiet lifestyle, so I think it is a good match and a good home for him. They were very happy to see him doing so well and to have a home.

oh how nice! Seems like a good fit! Congrats on the new family member!

I forgot the color name but there’s a cranberry-ish color, but I have a red one so it would have to be an amazing deal. And I think there is a glacier color? Like a steely blue. But again, it would have to be a good deal lol
Currant with lovely nickel hardware. It was one of my very first vintage purchases. I have the interesting blue, but the leather isn't as nice. I also used to have Legacy archival version. It is lined and has lots of pockets.

Didn't you have one for sale? Maybe you could dye that one currant/Bordeaux? Just a thought.

I just bought a city in that interesting blue for a steal! $19+shipping :yahoo: Also bought a like new archival one in gray and yellow combo for $40! It hasn't arrived yet. I'll post my other surprise score from eBay soon.

I didn’t get a chance to speak about multiples. We all know I am guilty of too many Rogues haha I’m still very much in love with the style. I have 2 or 3 that I’m considering selling as the colors just don’t really speak to me anymore.

I also have 3 Rambler’s Legacy. I just love that style! It’s a perfect weekend bag for me. I think the only way I’ll buy another is if I can find one of the more rare colors.

I am loving my black borough so much! I am restraining myself from researching others. I think eventually I would love another of the soft styles but I’m going to wait and just enjoy my one for now and let her have the spotlight.
I feel the same way about my Rogues. I did sell 1 color that didn't speak to me, but I just love that style.

Good to hear this happy news — enjoy your new addition (without the diapers, lol)

That's great she looks lovely! I look forward to pictures.

I hope your quiz night was fun. What kind of quiz night was it?
There is a Company called Believe it or Not that creates these quizes for pubs and groups around NZ...they also do corperate functions.
This is weekly on a tues night..we have loys of fun...a good meal and great company.
We came 6th last night...needed our book king for the list.

I have a post that I think/hope @Iamminda will appreciate because it reminds me of some of her previous posts. Yesterday, we went to church, and the message was about how in the end your relationships are what matters most, as we do not keep our material things for all time.

And I was thinking, even though we are all material in some way because obviously we buy way more handbags than we actually need, lol, in the end we have forged relationships from our hobby--thus something meaningful has come out of all of it.

Obviously, I am sure that isn't exactly what the pastor had in mind specifically, lol, but it just made me think of how sometimes relationships are formed in different ways. I am grateful for the nice people I have met here!

That’s a great idea to enjoy your new B a bit before getting another. (I used to fall in love with a bag at first sight, then buy a bunch almost immediately, then regret them with some use. It’s a bit like you get married, really enjoying the honeymoon, then go get a few more husbands right away, lol, jk).

I love that you shared this Alexa — thank you :). I am also grateful for everything and everyone associated with this wonderful thread. It doesn’t matter as much that some, many, of my bags didn’t work out — our ban island is a forever keeper to me :)

I agree, and think of all of the bags we have left behind! (we won't mention that we keep buying new ones to replace them, lol). But I had a funny thought as I typed that....I should of spoke up out loud and said, you are so right, buying Coach bags has brought more relationships to my life! :-)
