Getting some traction on finding my Rambler. According to Customs, its have been inspected and waived thru...on the 8th Nov!!...NZ Post should have known about it then. So contacted NZ Post and was told that they had requested the the package be found and sent on.
So heres hoping I get it soon.
I hope your new bag gets to you alright. Have fun planning your trip to Italy too!

This is pretty too. Yippee for Multiples, just kidding. When I first started liking Coach again, I went crazy with the Legacy Duffles and had around 18 (I rationalize as such — ok, just a couple, then ok, no more than 7 for a different one each day of the week, or 10 is a good round number or 14 is a great number for a different one for every 14 days, etc). I had just joined TPF and there was one gal (no longer active) with about 25 Duffles so I thought it was “normal” to have so many. I had multiples of Dakotahs, Swagger 27, etc. Then when things got out of hand, I decided that no more than 3-5 of each style at the most. Now, I only have multiples in 2 Coach styles (5 or less, lol).
IM, When I was new here, you warned me about going crazy for one style too soon. :flowers: Thank you for that!

I do like having multiples of a style or similar type that works really well because that means they will get used and enjoyed.

The Rambler has arrived and she is lovely....the leather is wonderful and soft , but she does have a perfume smell. not offensive at all but am hoping it will wash out. The lighting tonight is not wonderful to see the stains that are supposed to be on the back, I couldnt see any.
Will take some photos in the morning when the light is better.
Late night and sore eyes makes me not speak proper England!

I love the tall, dark, intriguing description :smile:View attachment 4594755
Aw! That is cute! Alexa5 came up with the best part-intriguing; I just added the tall & dark. ;) One of my boys grew his hair long, like Kylo long, over the summer. Much much older girls were checking him out. It's so different than when we were growing up. They pretend they are looking at their phones while also trying to see if he is noticing them. Or maybe they were taking pics of his Kylo hair. ;) He looked very cool, but I'm glad he finally wanted it cut and looks closer to his age again.

That's great she looks lovely! I look forward to pictures.

I hope your quiz night was fun. What kind of quiz night was it?

I didn’t get a chance to speak about multiples. We all know I am guilty of too many Rogues haha I’m still very much in love with the style. I have 2 or 3 that I’m considering selling as the colors just don’t really speak to me anymore.

I also have 3 Rambler’s Legacy. I just love that style! It’s a perfect weekend bag for me. I think the only way I’ll buy another is if I can find one of the more rare colors.

I am loving my black borough so much! I am restraining myself from researching others. I think eventually I would love another of the soft styles but I’m going to wait and just enjoy my one for now and let her have the spotlight.

That is how I am with multiples. If I do overdo it what typically happens is I change my mind about the look/color. My mini Preston bags, I was getting too many, and not using them quite as much, but I want to always keep a few as it is the perfect bag for me. Over time I have gotten rid of certain colors, and now I am down to my 3 keepers and I don't really miss the ones I gave up.

Dreamers I have had to weed out some, but now I am down to 3 that are unique so they are all keepers.

But I do get overwhelmed when my collection gets too large of a bag--I tend to not use it as much because I feel like I have too many. The exception is the Dinky because I switch to one of those regularly, and they are so small to store, which is great.

Cat update. We are keeping Max (his name). We let them know on Saturday, and then went and bought some new items for him. He just seemed really happy and liked our quiet lifestyle, so I think it is a good match and a good home for him. They were very happy to see him doing so well and to have a home.

Yay congrats!! I didn't get a chance to reply when you were posting about him! He's a handsome boy! I am glad he's adopted you guys! They are easy to care for. I grew up having cats even though I'm allergic to them. Lol! I miss having cats. I love to hear them purr and I love driving them nuts with laser pointers! I always want to get a cat but my DS1 often forgets to close doors all the way so I have multiple occasions where my dogs got out and I had to chase them down. So our house currently is not a good one for cats. My DS2 loves cats! So far he is content with visiting the neighbor's cats nextdoor. It'll probably be a matter of time until he wants his own cat. Lol.

The purring is very sweet. And so far he has been easy to care for, which helps us a lot. I knew I didn't want anything too time consuming or stressful, and so far he fits right in. I completely understand why it would be hard to have a cat in your current situation.
