Latest update on our move. After hearing that the movers would not be at our house for a week, DH and I packed up our cars and pets and headed to Georgia. Just outside of Nashville, I received a call that a driver would be at our Indiana house today. We did not turn back. Instead, we got a really good friend to be there for us. Stuff might be here on Friday. I will keep you posted! Will also send you photos of of renovations.
E, I must have missed this post! I'm glad you all decided to set off and get things moving! That's much better than sitting around to wait--let's hear it for good friends!

I'm very excited to see the photos of your renovations!

So the Black Nolita is a winner. Love the gold hardware and I can dress it up or down, and have a gold chain or black leather to wear as a crossbody. I also think it makes a nice dressy wristlet without it being too fancy, if that makes sense. Lol. The red clutch is going back. Now I remember why it doesn’t work for me, my keys. My darn keys can’t fit. I know I won’t take keys off or use another configuration to make it work. Too bad because I love the color too.
I am all over the place with reading posts so I missed this one, too! That's great news on the black Nolita. It would be so elegant in black with gold hardware.

Too bad about the 1941 clutch, but you're right, there's no room for keys. I use mine as my everyday wallet for grocery money, cards and coupons. But I carry it in my handbag.

You have a good idea to avoid the sunscreen and sand with Dinkies! We met friends last night and ended up near water. I put my feet in the water, got splashed a bit, and I was thankful DH was happy to hold the Dinky for me! I hope you have a beautiful time on your trip!
Thanks, TO! Good to her that DH swooped in to look after Dinky! Can you remind me again which one you have? I have the dark denim 24 Dinky and rose Dinky. I want one more. This is great little bag.

Your trip sounds so exciting! Im sure you will have a wonderful time!

Oooh it all sounds so fun! We do love the sun and the beach. We have been to Cancún and other places with the fabulous Caribbean Sea. We haven't done the Pacific Ocean yet. DH has talked about going to England a number of times, so he might lean that way. We have a year to plan and agree on a place to go. :coolio:

Thank, C! We are beach family as well. My kids love ocean sports. I would love to go to the Caribbean one day by cruise. That would be so fun. I've only been to England once (London, Cotswolds, Bath, Wales) and it was so wonderful. I look forward to another trip to England and Europe one day.

I don't like to carry a lot either. ML really got me thinking about this. I will probably carry my foldover clutches and some MM slg's for every day. I need to take something nice for a nice dinner or two on the ship.

You got me thinking again about what to take on the trip. I like having options too. I am still undecided about which bag to take as a carryon. It will have to serve several functions. I need it to be large for the plane, but not for other uses. :girlsigh:
I always take my large LePliage for my carry-on for plane travel. I've had it for a few years and it's wearing very well.

This year, I'm also going to take a small LePliage for everyday carrying of stuff, my MFF Sage satchel (have to bring one, otherwise I end up buying one at the Coach outlet so I'm taking one instead) and Nolita pouch which I can use a number of ways. I think it's coated canvas so it'll be useful.

Thanks ML . My baby is all grown up, lol. They had the graduation ceremony tonight (gowns and caps). We don’t have a dance party for graduation—sounds fun (especially for parents,). They are going on a grad night celebration at Disneyland tonight (student paid, by bus, one full day at the park tomorrow).

Since I was home for a few hours tonight, I snapped a picture of my new bag if ok to share. It is a pristine like-new purple Mahina leather bag. Quite lovely if I may say so, lol. I got this before the situation with Dad. Feel a little guilty for this reveal considering what is going on but just want to share it before reporting back for hospital duty tomorrow am.
This is such a beautiful bag! Please do not feel guilty about buying a bag. You have to take care of yourself and if that pretty bag makes you happy, then that’s ok! Take care, sweet IM!

Thanks for everyone’s kind words. In the midst of it all, I am taking the night off for DD’s high school graduation. Here’s a pic of her graduation lei, flower and balloon.

Have a good weekend everyone :smile:View attachment 4461016

How fun! I am obviously behind in thread again. My last kid graduates end of month but he has zero desire to attend lol... hope you enjoyed!

Good luck with the move sorry it's turned out to be longer than you expected.

Sorry behind once again. Don't have time right now to go through properly. Um, let's see one horse ripped her eye open, emergency vet call there, stitches and repaired(oye $$$$$) and some call ducks hatched, will show some pics of the babies later...

Still in my Black grace and Purple MK wallet i got for birthday last year. Not much going on, bad weather overall(to much rain, cool)

I miss the app so much too!!! Are you about to ditch us for Bal? (She says hands on hips and questioning smile on her face...)
You got some really nice vintage bags! I love the colors! Congrats on your sale!!! There may be hope for me yet. Lol!
Ha. I don't know if I can ever quit Coach. Maybe new ones as most stuff coming out are not my cup of tea. So vintage Coach and vintage Bal is all I'm looking at now.
I couldn't believe the price on this beautiful Edie at Dillard's. Mine now!!!View attachment 4462788 View attachment 4462789

Wow what a deal? Did they have anything else good? Was this today?!?

Yes, I was looking through the 50% off section of Coach at Dillards this morning and saw that. I couldn't believe my eyes! so I asked the salesperson if that was the right price!!! I also got the Chalk Edie 31 with rivets for $138. Today was my lucky day!
