I caved and got myself a treat with the PCE and my gift card- but at least it is not another bag!

I am going to have to get serious about selling off a lot of my collection. DH and I are preparing to move >1000 miles away! I’ve been stressing over my bags as I’m not comfortable leaving them out when we show our house, but it’s way too tedious to pack them up in my car every time we have a showing. It’s also going to be super hard to transport all of them as I will not want to put them on the moving truck. Ugh! I bought a large plastic tote last night and it fits 3 Rogues and a Cooper. I think my goal is to get one more of the same tote and I can only take what fits. Is gonna be tough, but I believe I can do it! Any suggestions for traveling with purses or hiding purses during house showings is much appreciated [emoji23][emoji23]
Under the bed?

Tradesy is very expensive but I'm making more sales there than ebay lately. The only problem I've had is that they returned a bag to me, claiming my measurements were off, but they weren't. Quite a few tpfers have had bags returned to them by Tradesy for made up reasons.

The heaviest bag I ever had was the Legacy medium Lily. I found it on ebay, and the minute I unpacked it, I knew I could never carry it. I resold and just kept my fingers crossed that the buyer wouldn't return it because of the weight. Several years ago, I had a 40% (I think, or was it 30%?) coupon because of a class action settlement with Coach. I bought a Carrie and the dragonfly duffle with the coupon, and ended up returning both because of the weight. Even with the coupon, it was the most I ever spent at Coach in one trip.

This news about Tradesy returning bags to sellers is making me nervous, another reason for me to stop (or slow down) buying bags.

This is so cute. Good luck with your move (gosh, you just moved a few years ago right? I can relate to this constant moving gig.). Sorry no advice on where to put your bags during open houses (except maybe put your premier or more expensive bags in your trunk like you said, the rest can stay, thieves are more interested in electronics). I also need to think about possibly moving in a year or two so this is a good reminder to downsize.

I sold a bag but not from my main collection (because I haven’t listed anything new from there) — so my number is still the same. But it is good to get rid of stuff and make a piddly amount of earnings (lol)
I sold a bag and keychain! The bag was one of the ones I had just recently decided to let go. I still have way too many keychains and I can't decide which ones to part with.

Two sales — that’s great. Regarding your keychains, do you use all of them or certain ones more frequently? Maybe use that as a deciding factor.

I've been meaning to go through them all and match them up to bags, and then decide whether to sell some of the others. But today I put a keychain on my new Bottega. I had sold the bag that went with that keychain awhile ago, so there is always a chance that a keychain that isn't used yet will find the perfect bag.

Not an old timer but even in my short span of being into bags have learned this, the only FP item i have is the woodstock wristlet, to me i knew it would never make outlet...

They churn out bags so quickly and then drop others i have given up even keeping track. I don't even have a boutique here anymore, and refuse to drive further, so the FP i have an option for is second hand or the deletes at the factory store.
I try to be really frugal (cough cough lots of bags on sale is not frugal) and don't have a FP store. All my bags from either outlets, usually on travels, FOS, or other stores for the the FP deletes, and a few pre-loved. I am really glad the sales are so great, but I know it's not fun if you paid full price. Even on FOS, I got a bag that was much much less that same month! Now that I'm learning about older colors, I'm feeling more relaxed and hopeful that versions of colors I love will come back, and I'll be able to get them eventually. It's also really neat to give a pre-loved bag a new life.
