I did that at the beginning of my bag buying craze/phase and bought way too many (of the same style in different colors, also different styles that are popular here on TPF, etc) and ended up selling many (at a loss). It’s so easy to do that with Coach/contemporary brands with sales, outlets, PCE, etc. Enjoy each bag before moving onto the next new thing (I know, more easily said than done). Have fun.

I've really been looking at all my bags and trying to figure out what is going on with me. I have some ideas, and one of the things has been searching for certain bags, missing them in sales or not finding them in stock etc. DH and I talked and realized the best thing to do is FIND those few bags in the colors I'm hunting for if possible and be done with it for a while! So I got that turquoise bag and found a pre-loved bag I've been wanting and am hunting for two more. After that, the ban is real. When/if the Parker goes on sale, I want a black one. I would really like a chain/leather strap Dinky 24 (is that the largest?) in a vibrant blue or bluegreen if I find one. Making a list like this is really helping me. Prices on ebay for used bags are more than the cost of buying them new, and many of them are MFF and still made. I guess that shows how attached we are to our bags and how much we value them. ;)

Lol thank you :) When I was little and we didn’t want to finish our food, my dad would lecture us and say something like “where do you think the food came from? Think about the person who put that okra (Bc Okra is eww) on the display for mom to get, and think of the person who drove the okra to the store” etc.. by then it’s like “just swallow it so we don’t have to hear this lecture again” haha same for our things. Lol no joke, I had the same one backpack from elementary school all the way to middle school. So point being, it was knocked into my head to appreciate everyone efforts.

I started it, but I couldn’t sit through the whole thing. I think it’s a hard process for me to look at what gives me joy or not. Haha

Good idea and hunt down the exact ones you want and be done (I suggest not settling for substitute or close enough colors/styles etc. That’s where I went wrong in my hunt for a certain bag and bought every color except for the one color I wanted initially). Good luck and have fun.

It's okay this time! You've actually helped me snap out of the hunger for more. Nothing tops this color for me! I just might end up wearing this bag all spring and summer. I wouldn't have considered that bag if not for the color, and your mentioning it made me take a closer look. I saw lots of mod shots (not in that color) and love that it is a saddle look without the flap. Perfect for me. Thank you so much!

I love your dad's perspective!

I've started looking at bags with that immediate joy in mind. I see certain ones and instantly light up. If I have to think about it, that tells me it isn't what I want.

I did that! Now I have metallic versions, glitter, chains (so not me!!!), and I love them all but would have preferred the regular version. I hesitated in this sale, thankfully, and didn't end up getting another metallic chain version of the teal I wanted. I am glad to have some fun bags that are out of the norm for me. The wildest for me is the Swagger Shoulder Bag in Mineral. It makes me want to go to a concert. Or would it be considered a weapon there? :)

For those who participated in the Oscar freebie contest, did you check on your results? I got one — Gary Oldman. So I think that takes me to 4 freebies total. (LT — can you please check when you return? Think I had 5, I used 2 in 2018, just earned 1).

I don't watch the Oscars so i obviously didn't post lol.

So wallet sale still pending, first person found it to small for their phone(which i get no biggie, TOTAL lack of communication however i do NOT) second person is making my head spin.. they want it but coming to look at has been a struggle...

Honestly, who knows if it'll sell....

However i do have a pending bag sale for this Saturday, fingers crossed this works lol.

I did mention before but that Cafe bag sold... sad. It's okay, i did worry it was to seasonal and i am picky like that. So back at the beginning i go. Stupid, dumb how i have actual funds to get something else from sales but cannot find what i truly want.

Believe part of my issue like i said before is this startup of clearing more excess out again makes me realize to think well on any further purchases, no settling, no this will do...

Tried looking at other brands as well but my knowledge past only a handful of brands is quite poor, and i worry about poor quality, i cannot do prestige brands at this time and the contemporary market has some real duds out there.

Have you looked at Brighton and Fossil? I think both are great quality.

It's the medium turnlock hobo. It feels larger than I imagined. I figure that it will slouch and look smaller later, but I don't want to test that theory. Also, for some reason, I thought the picture showed that it came with 2 types of leather. Nope, it's a gorgeous pebbled - which normally would be just right for me. But in my head, I thought it was different. Maybe because I just loved the three different leathers on the Faye. Also, for this color, I think I want a more lady like shape or size. The hobo is really lively, but it's not dainty. Yes, I know, sooo picky! [emoji4] [emoji12] [emoji23]

It depends on how far away and how long I travel. I normally don't carry my coach. I have a Belen Echandia bag in a neutral that goes with everything. I use it specifically for travel - long trips . It can fit a lot and is made of very sturdy leather. It's a darker color, so it won't look dirty and I can actually bear to put it on the floor of the airplane when necessary. [emoji15] I also recently bought a Tory Burch foldover clutch that has a full size wallet and fits all the essentials. It's my wallet, light crossbody, and dressy clutch. If I am going somewhere that will require dressing up a lot, then I have taken my tearose dinky in chalk and/or my red RM MAC in patent leather. Other times I've just travelled with my MM Zhoe in cobalt when it's just for the weekend.
