You have been pretty good generally over the years on ban island (hurray for whateve). Congrats on the new keychain. Yep, BV and Bal definitely don’t have good resale value. And actually some LVs and some CCs (and probably other brands too) don’t either.

So true, esp about BV. I always drool over the BV hobos new, but on fashionphile, they sell for like 1/3 of the price. The leather is so soft and squishy too. I wish I knew more about Bal bags. I totally remember when they were everywhere, but they were too expensive for me at the time.

I've been pretty good. I bought a vintage bag at a flea market last weekend, but really how could I pass up a red pre-creed (that means really really old) bag for $12?

I've decided to try to find a used Bottega Veneta at an affordable price before I take the plunge to drop $3000+ on one, so I've been looking on ebay. There aren't very many I really like in my price range. Apparently BV doesn't have good resale value.

I bought a keychain from FOS, that's all.

$12 would be hard to walk away from... not sure a big mac meal is even that cheap anymore lol Don't know much about BV but good idea to test the preloved vs new in case it's not what you hope it to be.

Not weird at all to me! I had to give away a lovely Cole Haan bag I was carrying when my dad was hospitalized and then passed away. I couldn't look at it without getting very emotional. I gave it to a dear friend who lives in another country.

I haven't returned anything I bought! The biggest purchase was when I bought all the hologram items and a pair of gloves but that was in store purchase. I sold my hologram Crosby instead of returning I have no pattern of returning any outlet items. I'll keep my money I don't have for them. I had $143 from my sales on Mercari and just spent $100 at TB. Besides they really don't have anything I have to have at the outlet either.

Honestly, from what i hear on TPF no rhyme or reason exists, they just lock some out.... agreed take that cash elsewhere lol....

I only shop in store Factory, it's close enough to me if i wanna drive there...

I really want to try a BV — I love their minimalist look (although a very small part of me is not 100% sure of the weaving, like whether it would feel slightly scratchy if carried full time like carrying a weaved basket, not sure if I am articulating that right. I tried them on at the store and new ones feel very stiff which I have been told they soften over time). So I may try a preloved one at some point although I like some new models. I love my Bbags (even though they are all technically satchels which I don’t generally like. They are fine since they are super soft/slouchy and have shoulder straps).

We might need some new ban island security. Lots of swimming is going on!
I came to report that I have not purchased a bag since December & no SLG since January. I’m also doing OK on eBay- most of my bags have sold- it’s down to SLGs and 2 purses! I have more to sell off. I’d really like to downsize more.
Anyone else have ban goals?

Ban goals? i had posted some ages ago.. like Jan. lol. We have so much swimming going on around we are gonna require a rescue yacht vs boat.

For the moment i would like a new bag for my 25th next month but i am quite picky and genuinely don't need anything my true dream would be my Speedy 25 but can't unfortunately.
