IFFAH, I believe it was an SB-I. I recall it had a big heavy lock, but I'm not sure if the SB-II has this too. I know the SBI and SBII have different hardware, but all the bags were behind the counter on shelves, so I didn't get a chance to handle them all. I plan to go back soon, so PM me if you want details and I can check it out for you when I go.

:ty: shoemania. I was just being curious if it's in SB II. I've seen potiron SB I before and it's beautiful but alas, the color looks wrong on me.

some goodies in prague! two 35 birkins, one in white, one in blue jean right there on the shelf, sorry, didn't get close enough to see what leather. 2 kelly flats, one in white and one in a light brown, darker than gold but lighter than chocolate. a few kellys and a bicolor bearne (bj and etoupe) and a bicolor dogone, orange and that same light brown, very yummy!

CVCD, though I'm not sure what the exchange rate is at the moment, I can tell you that when I was there in April, my purchase actually wound up costing me more than it would have here once you factored in the foreign currency transaction fee from Amex...

At best I think it winds up being about the same.

The good news is I found them to have great inventory! A different selection than my usual stores in the US. And if you change your mind, you can actually return something! (within 7 days I believe)

Excluding the exchange rate, Canada has a HUGE tax that apparently you can get back if you leave the country. I have NO idea how to get it back and the H boutique had no idea either. When I asked, they said there is no such thing. A tpf member told me about being able to get the tax back, but hey, lets be honest, I just cannot be bothered!! I still got the bags at the extra 12%, but still, it does not end up being the same. Also, the Canadian dollar is quite strong these days, at only about 1.12 CAD per USD, so very little impact. Try to use your bank issued Visa card, they will ALWAYS have a better rate than AMEX. AMEX is known to be easily a few big figures off on the rates. If you do purchase there, I always take the bag with me and have them ditch the box or ship it to me. The boxes have been lost, delayed, damaged...but thankfully I had my bags in tow vs. shipping. For some reason shipping from Canada has more delays and problems than overseas.

Unless there is something you see that is out of this world gorgeous (which happens a lot in Canada!!), it's cheaper to buy your bag in the US.

I used a capital one credit card in paris last year since it charges no fees in currency conversions and after I came home, I checked the rate they used for my purchases and it was very close to the bank rates for those days.

Thanks hermesmonkey for all this helpful info. I'm going to Montreal next week and was wondering the same regarding the inventory, prices, exchange rates, etc. When I looked on the H website, it states that they are located within Holt Renfrew. Does anyone know how the inventory/selection is there??

hi,
i looked at the shoulder birkin at scp and it is that new color poussiere which is like a very light khaki with green undertones. i was hoping it was etoupe but no luck. the great thing about the sb2 now is that they have a lined inner pocket, cell phone pocket unlike the old sb1.

Went to H VA yesterday and they had a ciel Kelly 35 and loads of bombays and clutches and new scarves. The SA showed me a lovley lindy in ciel and parchmin, all I could think of was sky and clouds. It was so pretty, but I am not a Lindy gal. What a pretty store and they had the Mouss pounchos on display and one with sparkles sewn on. Some Fall thigs, too. Will post some pictures in a few minutes!
