CVCD, though I'm not sure what the exchange rate is at the moment, I can tell you that when I was there in April, my purchase actually wound up costing me more than it would have here once you factored in the foreign currency transaction fee from Amex...

At best I think it winds up being about the same.

The good news is I found them to have great inventory! A different selection than my usual stores in the US. And if you change your mind, you can actually return something! (within 7 days I believe)

I think it was 9100 for togo. I was there a few weeks ago and there was a 30 gold with ph.

Speaking of 30 Birkins, Madison Avenue just got some in. I got the only black with ghw
that I had been waiting for:yahoo: but they had some with the palladium - don't know
if they're reserved, but might be worth a try if anyone's interested...

Now that I have the fraternal twin of my gold togo with ghw, I think I'm done with bags,
and can concentrate on scarves :whistle:

the lighting inside the shop was sort of yellowish, i think it is a white white and not off white. the bag is really pretty. i wanted to see those bags but don't want to get my drools all over those exotics :laugh:.
i think hermes made a lot of true white bags this summer and i haven't seen a lot of off white bags this year.

^^^ Thanks bluewin :flowers: I saw the series of white ostrich bags Hermes produced for the opening of Riverside Mall but have not seen any others, so this is exciting. There are some parchemin ostrich bags around at the moment, but not white-white.

Sorry not good at all with colour names/sizes (My brain becomes giddy with excitement when I walk through the doors and can't retain anything :nuts:)

lindy in a matt med brown croc?
shiny croc birkin gorgeous cherry red (not burgundy)

a few kellys in browns/golds
a lakis in black or indigo

some more unique items to the store like a suitcase ($10K), lg paris-bombays
horse hair tassles in a few diff colours

I'm not a red gal, but spotted this beauty in Selfridges Manchester yesterday - it's not as bright as that IRL and looks like clemence. A real stunner.

And in the "proper" Manchester store (so nice to be able to say we have 2!) they have a gorgeous clemence 32 Kelly in vert fonce with GHW. Had it have been PHW i'd have been all over that baby.
