Has anybody been successful in getting a store in another country to sell you a bag and send it to you? I know that some countries have better stocks of certain bags but the 866 people make it sound like it is impossible to get a bag from another country unless you physically go there.

Hehehehh... yeah.. me = Australian woman who purchases from Saks NY LV because technically I am purchasing from Saks which purchases from LV. Billing and shipping are done through Saks.
My SA isn't too keen though.. too much hassle, probably..
But now the US dollar is getting stronger and Aussie is weakening.. no good for me..

LV doesn't not ship to other a Store in another Country.
In Germany they don't even ship bags to another Store within the country - only to your adress.

Saks LV can do a stock transfer (probably within the Saks network) if you want something that is not available in their store. They can then ship to your billing address overseas for $50 or ship locally (no tax if shipping to another state)
