No, that's not a dumb question! I think it's a common question and the reason a lot of people haven't added their measurements already! I have the soft measuring tape seamstresses use but you could use hard measuring tape, it would just take a little longer. Use a ribbon/thread/shoelace to measure the insole (along the contour) then measure that with your hard tape

I usually go from the middle of the heel to the end of the tip. Is this incorrect?

Inside along the centre, from heel to tip. It's tricky to do, but that's the goal.

The spreadsheet hasn't been working for a while. Who's in charge of it?

39.5 VP are 10 inches.

Lady Grants 39.5 are 9 3/4 inches.

Turban flats 39.5 are 10 inches.

Okay I copied the document to my account and added Jance's measurements. Through this link anyone should be able to edit it without having to sign into google or anything. You also don't have to press save, it'll just be in there forever!

Just to add, measuring the width of the toe box is also great if you can!

:shame: Oh wow, how did I miss all these comments?? I had no idea the spreadsheet was acting up! Well, it's fixed now with more measurements up. Somehow the share restrictions were edited.. no wonder there hadn't been any recent measurements up!! Sorry ladies
