Influencers and Hermes

Am I the only one who finds it rather ironic to call out the criminal husband of a seller of fake but not the slumlord of an influencer with real bags (instead put a spotlight on said influencer as a true collector)? It seems like they use whether one has an authentic Hermes bag as a measure of one’s ethics and morality.

All crimes and bullying can be excused if one wears an authentic Hermes, obviously!

No, you are not the only one.

When TFBS was confronted about their flagrant hypocrisy, they defended the honor of styledbyshishi, stating:
1) she was not named as a co-conspirator, 2) her parents are "wealthy" ()... implying that that they fund her? ( 3) she earned a "significant" income from being an influencer. They then blocked the questioner.

Clearly, burning down someone's home and all their worldy possessions... AND not to mention burning their pets alive, is not as offensive to TFBS as carrying a fake Birkin.

Why am I not surprised? Always claim a moral high ground to fulfill your agenda but its never about morals in the first place , just someone's bottom line......

OT but...did she divorce him?

WOW Makes me think that Shishi might be part of the people that run TFBS... !

It is evident that the parties associated with TFBS hold a vested interest in exposing the fake bags. Their actions are driven by self-interest rather than a selfless desire to do good.

Am I the only one who is triggered by how some of these influencer/youtuber pronounce some words? I get that some Hermès colors can be hard to pronounce, but in my opinion, you should at least be able to say Hermès, sellier and retourné correctly. I am tired fo hearing Hermeez and selli-ER.

And the "re-torn" or "return" Kelly
Ha ha - yes the re-torn Kelly is a favourite! I try not to waste my time with the kind of influencers who sport the ‘ I spend a lot of money’ aesthetic’ - it’s just so cringe

I wish Hermès stopped being popular in the influencer world. I just want to wear my bags and not come across as one of them. Maybe I shouldn’t care, but I do. They are ruining it a bit for me personally.
Agree. It seemed more special a few years ago and now with so many dupes/reps floating around and every TDH having one, it feels kind of meh. That and I feel like everyone is wondering if my bags are real anyway.

The influencer world isn't likely going to take a break. For many, H is their bread & butter
& they likely will exist at some level. But they don't rule the roost when it comes to wearing & enjoying
my H bags & it shouldn't stop you in a manner of speaking from enjoying yours, & many of us are
finding these influencers passe & been there, done that & have seen it all...so nothing new, JMO
