Influencers and Hermes

I honestly can not tell from this picture, so I wonder how it was determined to be a fake. If it is a fake, I do wonder if Hermes will do anything concerning their ties with her.
+1.

I don’t know how TBS or others can say it’s fake. Authenticators need certain close-ups of good qualities. How can people judge from blurry photos taken meters away, screen-shot from websites? I mean some are obviously fakes but there are a lot more borderline cases.

On a différent point about thefakebirkinslayer, I found it very interesting how they repeatedly highlight how the counterfeit market funds criminal activity, yet they decided to shine a positive spotlight on styledbyshishi whose husband is a convicted criminal. It just makes one wonder the true intentions of those behind the account; is it really about preventing criminal activity and its promotion or is it about creating some social distinction between those with Hermes and those without?

Just food for thought, but all in all, I think with all influencers, it’s important to consider their intentions. The influencers with more genuine intentions of sharing what they love and their knowledge make better content as a result. Now, is it worth watching or giving attention to the people chasing the likes or a $27 masterclass? I think not.

This.

Has anyone else noticed influencers starting to have Hermes bags?

I swear in the past like 6 months or a year, all of my favorite younger influencers have started showing off Hermes bags, black Kellys and Birkins especially. Like MVB and Babba etc etc. Do you think this is a push from Hermes and the marketing side? Are these girls getting these bags for free or discounted? Or just younger influencers starting to appreciate the craftsmanship and actually purchasing the bags themselves?

Curious if anyone had any thoughts!
to me, it cheapens the brand.

I really do not want to see Hinz and Kunz wearing H bags, especially when realizing that H did not play the H game with them, obvious.

naaa, I am not into this kind of "quiet" luxury.

It really cheapens the brand ,and it’s sad that people who really love the brand have to wait years and spend to get a quota bag whereas these parole and resellers have no issues getting them .

I actually saw another FBS story a few days ago which is now gone. BOTH Erika’s Girly World and Carodaur were in the stories questioning their bags. Carodaur‘s pics included one of her sitting inside a car with her mini Kelly near the gear stick. It’s funny how Erika highlights Carodaur’s FBS accusation story yet makes no mention that she too was highlighted there as well.

I don’t care for TheFakeBirkinSlayer in general …

1) They won’t post on their main feed, only on their stories
2) They won’t outright claim that something is fake, just “where did you get your Hermes”
3) They won’t share their credentials (expertise or experience that make them an expert in the field)

I can’t trust the opinion of someone with so many red flags.

I don’t get it. How would he know who bought fakes? Why would the fake sellers disclose this information to him?
Did no one on this thread read all those articles about the rep ladies over on reddit? Any chance the fakebirkinslayer could be a member there? That he/she/they know who has bought what from whom by reading the reveal threads? I guess I’m cynical, but when you have to wonder why inventory is so low and you’ve got a “pre-spend” of $23K and nothing to show for it, yet some influencer is revealing Mini Kellys, Birkins etc. well.... when your SA is in Guangzhou, you can get anything you want.
I would guess at least half of these youtubers and influencers are fronting with fakes.
All these excuses people make for them is cray. Oh her husband is really rich, she has to sell a bag to buy another bag, her home store is in a good location, her daddy is a big shot. Really? You’re 28 and spending $80K a year at (just) Hermes? C’mon.
Think about how many bags Hermes actually produces in a year and then factor in the real collectors - the ones you’ve never heard of, then people like Jamie Chua, Victoria Beckham (if she still buys), that Kelly someone who had the divorce drama, actual celebrities, actual uber wealthy individuals, all the ladies and gents here... how many bags are left? Yet every influencer has one. Or two, or has been offered one already twice this year.
It’s just not real life. Period.
