Is anyone else really rubbed the wrong way by Tania's extreme change of tune? I saw a video yesterday where she was saying that she was "part of the problem" (with overconsumption). IMO, you don't get to prey on people's naivety by telling them they need to buy your guidebook in order to be able to get bags (especially when all the information is probably available for free here and on other parts of the internet), then just change up when the narrative doesn't suit you anymore and repackage it as a "growth moment."
I obviously never bought into her guidebook/roadmap nonsense, but I can only imagine that the people who did would feel kind of duped to see how quickly she dropped all of that after years of taking/trying to take their money.
I'm not trying to speculate on her personal life, her financial situation, or any of that - but all of this comes across as so phony to me!

I think the ring is gorgeous but don’t think it works with her skin tone. She may have been better off with RG.
Don’t get us (especially me) started on this abrupt about-face. The complete brand bashing after so so so many videos of hers just lapping up whatever they put out, and stealing free information (a lot from this page) then wrapping it up and selling it people who were looking for a “get a bag quick” scheme. It was despicable when she was selling it back then and then to now come forward and say she’s part of the problem and blah blah blah is just a slap in the face to those that bought. At the time it was an “I’m better than you because I have bags and the knowledge to get them” to fast forward now and it’s an “I’m better than you because I’ve moved on” attitude. Her offering financial advice at the age of 32 after basically having one good job and a rich husband is absolutely laughable. She preached for years to spend spend spend to get that bag to now save save save?! I think she’s also suggesting she’s going to offer financial courses. What happened to selling her clothes and shoes online?! And she never put up those bags for sale that she said she was going to. For someone who is over the brand, she’s still making content using their name.

You just perfectly captured why I find it all so annoying! She posted a video about being "healed" not and no longer being in the luxury game (or something to that effect). She's essentially suggesting that she's better than all of us who still shop there. People could say that she's only speaking about herself and isn't trying to say the same is true for everyone else, but I totally agree with you that she has something new up her sleeve that she'll try to sell - and she'll need people to second-guess their Hermes habits in order to keep preying on them.
Yep! That’s why her advice is so eye rolling. She’s self admittedly only been buying Hermès since 2020 when she scored the first Officer Birkin during Covid. And since she’s not been buying Hermès in at least a year (again, her own admission) she got all of her purses in about 3-3.5 years. So you can imagine the prespend to keep that train rolling in such a short time.
Like 90%+ of most influencers (luxury or otherwise).
I like the OG days of YouTube before it was an actual job. People were more genuine then. But I have faith things will self correct soon enough.
Her 'pre-spend' was virtually gifted to her from proceeds of the Roadmap and other nonsense she sold, allowing her to keep up the pretense that her plan really worked when she would really have been spending A LOT to get the offers. I wonder how many disgruntled people confronted her when the Roadmap did not score them their bag of choice? Maybe she is running away from the monster she created.

Not sure if Cassie Thorpe is still considered an Hermes influencer but she just had her big wedding ( she got married in a courthouse ceremony last year).
I wasn't really in love with her dress choice I must say. I thought she would go more glam ( not that it's my business lol). But I wish her and her husband a wonderful happy long life together.
