Agree it’s not new when people choose to give up things to buy luxury. But my point (which seems to have been misunderstood through a response in a different thread) is when people give up a basic necessity like a haircut and they’re flaunting a luxury lifestyle on social media it’s sad and weird. How many haircuts does one need in a year and really does it save all that much? Makes you wonder what else they’re giving up. Two ply toilet paper?I have been on this forum quite some time now. I have read on this very forum people preferring to eat certain types of cheap food, give up traveling, drive certain vehicles, sell one bag to fund the next, etc just to be able to afford luxuries. That sadly is nothing new and not influencer specific. I guess maybe it's more widely talked about. H and others have been taking this type of client.
ETA: I personally do not care how people choose purchase their items or what they choose to give up. I am a to each their own type.
