Here's my dirty secret..Anyone who has seen my posts knows my distain and scorn for 'influencers'.
I cant stand the term and what they represent..
BUT..My dirty secret is..
I choose to watch influencer videos and unboxings on Youtube when I'm on the cross trainer at the gym.
The reason being they make me so angry that I put extra energy into the exercise and before I know it an hour and a thousand calories have gone thank you very much!
Ok this is the best post ever

A whistleblower H acct. “People getting cancelled over handbags.”  I can’t.

I believe I've seen this birkintrash guy at the Beverly Hills store before in faux? fur coat and H fluffy sandals.

if you go to his tiktok that he posted regarding his cancelation, you got a wall of people cheering him on.
I lose more and more respect for humanity each passing day.

Looks like that Instagram account is focusing on obvious fakes - bags in specs that H has never made, bags with obviously wrong proportions or other glaring issues, etc. basically fakes that you can tell literally from a glance. And we know there are much, much better (super)fakes out there that are hard to tell, that requires an experienced authenticator carefully inspecting the bags with a magnifying glass. And we know a lot of people will mix and match authentic and fake goods.

Please don’t trust much of what you see on the internet, really!! And I know it can be hard but try not to let them influence 1. your happiness, at the end of the day it’s just a (very expensive) bag, and 2. your enjoyment of the authentic items that you own and love, hopefully for reasons that are more than just showing them off to other people. (Not saying that you can’t do a little of that, I’m here on tPF myself after all :P )

I noticed the same that the account focuses on obvious fakes. The page has also mislabeled some vintage bags and a HAC as fakes. While I think the page is doing a good job calling out inspired bags and obvious fakes, the person running it doesn’t seem to be the most knowledgeable in authentication. I do wonder what Hermes is thinking about this account, though a few people within Hermes follow it.

Did you see the fake Cartier and VCA on the “HAC” post lol Where there’s obviously fake items there are more

Seriously. Ugh

Not to mention did people really think those bags posted were real?!

I mean the wings on the kelly?! Come on!

Also, it’s my understanding that if they post a bag they have checked it every which way. If you message them they ask for proof, who sold it to them - so if there’s anything that could be real it’s weeded out? It’s eye opening how many fake resellers there really are and how many big celebrities and accounts are engaged with fakes and helping sell fakes. Hopefully H will use this information to put each big fake seller out of business and ban celebrities who promote fakes.

There is no jewelry visible except for blurry rings and diamond stud earrings on the HAC post I’m referring to. This is clearly a HAC 50 Voyage, so them doubting Hermes ever produced such a “size” shows they don’t know the difference between a HAC and Birkin and the variety that is offered at Hermes except for Birkins and Kellys.

There was a post before this with a stack on the wrist, but it appears this person deleted it. If you follow what they say they’re asking where did the person get the bag and I’ve watched them post proof of where it was from for many posts. I don’t doubt there is proof here.

The interesting thing to me..is that we have seen people so upset that xyz is always being offered bags and then also doing all of these unboxings for attention/followers. To learn that a lot of these are fakes and those posts are all so disingenuous is eye opening for a lot of people. It's not about a "journey" or "prespend" FTLOG it's about bags from a reknown fashion house.
