Hi dears, random question but lately I am taking out some clothes I bought for DH from Paris Hermes last year.

I found that some of the Hermes men short sleeve shirts crease very easily. Hard to get them back to the same level of crisp too when seen in the boutique lol .

Does anyone have any special tips on these kind of clothes? I believe they belong to 2023 summer collection kinda like short sleeve button shirt.

Perhaps this is worth sharing and discussing in the influencer thread?
Anyway, from what I see here in Paris, this sounds like a typical social media fake flex. As others have said, it's wise not to believe everything one sees on social. Fakes are available to buy in France as well as in other places, there is a well-known counterfeiter here :shrugs:
I didn’t know there’s an influencer thread!
Actually I’m quite curious to know who this IG influencer is. Would be quite a feat to score 10 bags in Paris but like the rest, I have my doubts on the veracity. @callmelindy can you share?
One has to "read" between the lines with regard to what is shared & posted here as being credible
There is so much knowledge that is shared in particular from @QuelleFromage who has the
ability to put this scenario into perspective & for us to know what is real & what is being said as a possible tease
after all there have been many social media posts that are turn out to be "smoke & mirrors".. There are
times we just need to take a step back & just say "really" instead of being caught up in it all
I'd be curious also to know who this "IG influencer" is because for the most part what they
share needs to be taken with a grain of salt, JMO
I dont mind sharing but I’m not sure if I’ll get in trouble?

Button down shirts? Professionally clean; specify hand press. (That’s how I arrange for all of DHs shirts: Hermes, charvet, Turnbull etc. when hanging them, try not to crowd them (easier said than done esp, if closet space is an issue). Our dry cleaner knows DH prefers no starch or sizing which tends to stiffen button down shirts, and our shirt purchases from the boutique don’t seem to have much if any starch.

Just imagine you are walking through an art museum and seeing an exquisite oil painting of an aristocratic child with all his fine adornments. It’s really no different, Just a modern version

I draw the line that Hermes luxury goods are for adults. That's a hill I'm willing to die on.

Being a consumer of such products is fraught with psychological considerations that no child (let alone a lot of adults, often times including myself) is savvy enough to navigate. There are questions of inequality, classism, personal identity and what an object signals... some exposure is unavoidable. And I understand it's practically impossible to isolate children from the milieu of their parents'. But to treat unwrapping a Kellydole as no different than unboxing a Barbie is doing a disservice to that child, who should be taught that there IS a difference when she's of proper age to understand.

I agree. I’m just pointing out really rich kids have always had access to ridiculously expensive things.

Ah I see she’s already mentioned in there. It’s the one on the second last page with a young girl (her daughter) unboxing Kelly dole
