Influencers and Hermes

I also find it cringe that some of them that once raved about how much they love this and that birkin bait all of a sudden say “it didn’t really suit me but I wanted to just get it”….
yes! very irresponsible on their part. this is why nobody should blindly follow any influencers and do their own research, especially when it comes to birkin sizes. the birkin isn't for everyone and its not always the most practical choice.

Is it true that Michael Coste is leaving Hermes too ?! Hermès is really shaking up house. Please look at his comments section on ig .
I looked at the comments section from the last three posts on his account and it doesn't seem like he's leaving. There was just one comment that said "sad I'm going to miss you this time" and it could mean that their schedules don't align.

How funny that you posted this. I was at FSH at the same time she was, and figured she was an influencer based on the conversation she was having with one of her followers who had recognized her and the content she was recording. She looked familiar, but I didn't know who she was at the time. Now I do!

oh what day was that? I was just there recently too!

100% true. I used to struggle to find Hermes videos and now it seems like everyone is on a 'journey' and is unboxing many of them. And many claim to have little pre-spend.

I dunno. It makes me question whether these are all authentic or not
Sooo boring, isn't it? But, Hermès has to survive and cultivate a younger clientele. I accept that ai am no longer in their target demographic. Yes, I think a lot of bags you see influencers carrying are fake. Remember, we are only seeing a two dimensional image that can easily be manipulated.

In the past I understood that Hermès never lent bags out or gave away free product, but perhaps that has changed.
Has anyone else noticed influencers starting to have Hermes bags?

I swear in the past like 6 months or a year, all of my favorite younger influencers have started showing off Hermes bags, black Kellys and Birkins especially. Like MVB and Babba etc etc. Do you think this is a push from Hermes and the marketing side? Are these girls getting these bags for free or discounted? Or just younger influencers starting to appreciate the craftsmanship and actually purchasing the bags themselves?

Curious if anyone had any thoughts!

Yes, I think a lot of bags you see influencers carrying are fake. Remember, we are only seeing a two dimensional image. If the Jenner girls can completely manipulate their bone structure, body type and proportions, an influencer can surely fake a bag.

Now that's one what clearly been approached and offered to skip hoops and pre-spend...
From one day to the next she went from an extensive collection of different brands to holier-than-thou Hermès onlyism...
just watched Lydia Elise Millen's collection - she has downsized a lot and curated really well ..

Agree! Love her Hermes bag collection! She's building a beautiful wardrobe of both pre-loved and new-from-the-boutique Hermes bags that will last her a lifetime.
