Am I the only one not buying this advent calendar nonsense? I mean, sure if she gave her SA a list of like 35 items and SA packaged whichever 24 she had but random grab and ring it up, no way. I honestly can’t even see it being legal to charge her for unknown items and feel like H wouldn’t open itself up to that kind of payment liability.

Of course this is just a lot of baloney
Yeah, this is total baloney. No SA on the planet is going to spend their time AT THE HOLIDAYS boxing up an Advent calendar of items for 40K€. Maybe if you swan in six months in advance and say "I'd like to drop half a mil at the holidays, would you do this crazy thing" but otherwise, nope.
Media is so saturated now that people will try anything for views. "My Map to Paris" "24 Days of Hermès Horse Hockey" "I Slept With My SA and All I Got Was This Lousy Mini Kelly Picotin"

IM GAGGING! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

This is 100% a marketing stunt, the advent calendar video is her 5th video ever on TikTok. All of her current followers came from these videos.
I don’t know much of her history as I only found her from these videos but she mentions in one of them that she has another account that’s in her native language and this one is her English speaking account.

It all really isn’t that deep. Like I said when I posted the first video this is for those who like unboxing videos. If it’s not your thing or you need to know the who what or why behind things maybe this isn’t for you.

We have posters on this forum that spend like a lot of these people do on social media and we’re not(rightfully) questioning or giving them the third degree. I don’t get why it always need to be done for those who post their Hermes purchases on other platforms.

Thank you for posting. I found it quite fun and entertaining. :flowers:

Thanks for the feedback  I never intended to criticize the entertainment value of her content or you for posting the link. I followed her after you posted the video because I also find it very entertaining and I want to follow along.

I would respectfully disagree here. tPF members don't get the same scrutiny because everyone here is anonymous. However, if someone here posts an unusual story (a lineup of 3 exotic QBs that they picked up in one shopping trip, for example), along with a link to their personal website where they're selling a course, that post would get a lot of questions.
I don't stand by criticizing an influencer and speculating on their wealth for how they look, their car, their clothes, furniture, etc. But pointing out that she is actively redirecting her viewers to another channel (she is indeed selling a "Cash Cow Academy" course on her Instagram) and likely isn't disclosing the full story isn't wrong, in my opinion.

I feel like this is misleading because youre making it sounds like this woman is doing what Tania does and is selling "tips" on how to score bags. I had to quickly look because I was confused what at who were referring to but she sells a course on how to make money on Youtube. Which I don't see what's wrong about that.

And with these scenarios you're comparing apples and oranges. People unboxing general H items compared to items where limited quantities are given(like QBs) are different things. But overall like you said we can agree to disagree :flowers: I'm just someone who doesn't care about the details as I'm just here for the eye candy. Hermes isn't like other brands where all of their offerings are online. Youre at the mercy of fellow shoppers showing their goods to see what's currently floating out there. And that's what I like. I love to see RTW on real everyday people, I love to see H leather items in all of their beautiful colors. I love seeing how people style their jewelry pieces or scarves. So anything behind all of that I just don't care to dig into.

She's using H to build an image of a "23-year-old self-made millionaire" (per her bio). Since she looks so young, her audience would question how she built her wealth and that'd lead them to discover her course on how to make money on Youtube.
I did not claim that there was anything wrong with her selling her course. I'm pointing out that there are marketing motives behind her videos and her unboxing is likely more planned than portrayed.

The discussion was around whether an H SA would be willing to create a blind advent calendar for a client.

100% I agree with you, and I've been enjoying her unboxing as well! Thank you for sharing it

Those motives sounds like good marketing to me lol if she has a love for the brand(which I’m sure to some will be debatable) and can use that to get more eyes on her brand I don’t know I guess it’s another thing I don’t care about. Especially if she just has a link in bio. She’s not incorporating buying her course in her videos(which she may do at some point but again I wouldn’t care).

There’s no details about how she went about it with her SA that I’m aware of. Maybe an SO helped, or a friend or family member. Again I don’t care about the mechanics of it. I just want to see the goods lol

I’m sorry I guess I’m just being sensitive about this. I would love to be able to chat with other posters who had similar interest in this thread. But it almost always turns into a 💩 fest and it’s just kind of a bummer.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the unboxings too and I appreciate the dialogue:heart:

She really isn't escaping the reseller allegations. Sold her SO B25 earlier this year and now selling her Vert Foncé K28. When she first got this bag, she said it was 'absolutely perfect." Gotta resell in order to purchase another Hermes bag. She can't afford it otherwise.

The bag description says chocolate color.

Anyways, im just waiting for the mini kelly to be consigned. It’s obviously not her aesthetic but that’s what they do to create content. I dont think influencing is a sustainable source of income unless you are a world class fashion model who get sponsorship to back your content creation.

Where do you see that? This is the bag linked in stories: https://www.redeluxe.com/products/k...wC4dokulf3VrLzoYoUz1vLWR6nd5405knc8ClfvuKHhlE

It's Vert Foncé.

Also agree with you about her eventually selling her mini Kelly. She's not a silver hardware girl.
