Influencers and Hermes

She really isn't escaping the reseller allegations. Sold her SO B25 earlier this year and now selling her Vert Foncé K28. When she first got this bag, she said it was 'absolutely perfect." Gotta resell in order to purchase another Hermes bag. She can't afford it otherwise.

My theory is she try to make us think she can afford these bag but in reality she can't so she keeps them for a few months and resell them.

Jelline Brands is quite a succes story in the Netherlands. She and her sister began looking for ways to make money online and managed to do so with Cash Cow. She was mentioned in some magazines and online forums. For Dutch standards she is rich. I read somewhere that she made 300 000 euro in get best month. This included her Academy.

Because we have 2 stores in 1 city the client group is diverse but not generally ‘high spending’. Her SA probably was very happy with the 40.000+ budget he got for the Calendar as dropping this amount in one go is not really common here. I assume it is all real and not that big of an amount for her. And it is a tax write off. She is using the calendar to get more social media traffic. It all plays out perfectly.

One other thing about her: she seems sweet and quite new to the Hermes brand. Her knowledge on the brand is next to nothing and buys (i quote) for use and investment purposes. I think she hardly passes on things offered. If you ask me, she buys Hermes because is the top tier brand and gives exclusivity just like all the influencers. It helps your social status when being affiliated with the brand. She is quite young so i do not blame her!

Just my 2 cents though and her content is really entertaining.

Tamara got another bag Kelly gris pale 28 palladium hardware from Paris.
Talk about Hèrmes starts at around 14 min and unboxing around 20 min, I think

Now as per her tiktok she got another quota bag in blue box 🙈 im not a hater but, im a bit jealous of her collection and how easy is for her to get a bag. In comparison I’ve trying score a bag for the last almost two years in Paris with no luck 🤡 she mentioned that her bf pre booked an appointment with Michael.

The sad part about this is how all the Hermès groupies are unable to identify this as "gifting", just like all the other brands do. However, instead of directly gifting bags, Hermès gifts the prespend (by waving it); so these influencers get direct access to bags, while everybody else has to caugh up prespend first and drag around for months/years kissing @ss hoping for THE call.

To me, that's gifting just the same; it looks less vulgar because those influencers still pay for the bags. But being gifted the prespend is just as big, it is just invisible...

I am sorry. But don't compare yourself with 'influencers'. Some of them buy alot H products in multiple boutiques in different countries. Some go reseller route. Some are just smoke and mirrors.
Anyway i hope you get your dreambag soon :flowers:

I never thought of it this way but you are absolutely correct.

Actually she received a bag in a blue box, or a blue box bag - just gently correcting here because I misread this post - which makes it worse because a bag in a blue box is a special edition.

I haven’t seen this new box bag, but she’s pretty candid that she gets 4 bags per year (2 under her profile and 2 under her fiancé’s). Plus Kelly Pochette and Constance which don’t count toward her quota. It’s pretty clear from her hauls that she is a serious spender, not just at H but at other brands, Net-a-Porter, MyTheresa, etc. I’m sure working in fashion and having personal relationships with H staff helps too, but in reality someone at her spend level should get 4 bag offers a year regardless. Don’t compare yourself to her

I just watched her latest vlog! I think she got a kelly desordre!? I’m not sure.. just guessing from the shape of the box.

Yes, that’s very true, she is a big spender :) like I said im not hating her bc I actually like her content and all hermes unboxings, just a bit jealous of her collection gained in such short period of time 😆

She may be a big spender, but she also collaborates with all these brands so there's definitely a fast-track-lane for influencers.

I remember how before the pandemic Hermès wouldn't collaborate with influencers and nowadays it's all they do, they have stepped up their game, what's saddens me the most, is that Hermes isn't anymore what it used to be.
