hi! I purchased one yesterday and was told hermes wouldn't sell a strap to go with it this it would mean "changing the design"
it's a super lightweight bag and adorable for day to evening! i'm definitely a fan!

Hi, I posted this awhile back in the Action thread, but I tied a twilly twin onto my in the loop and can wear it as a cross body bag. I have one end tied to the chaîne d’ancre and the other end to the leather loop. I prefer wearing it this way vs as a tote given the small size. The top of the bag lays flat against my body and I don’t feel like it’s open. Excuse the exercise clothes as we were about to go for a walk on the beach.

I was after a Picotin 18 and am still waiting on my SA when this happened completely out of the blue:
I am not sure it’ll be a keeper as noir isn’t my fave colour.. looking at my wardrobe I always think that a black bag is very hard to match. Any hints?

Black is such a versatile color!! It goes with every other color. Congrats!
Pardon my ignorance, but is ITL the same price as Pico 18? I got the feeling it was much more exp... if it is more exp, then may be worth holding out after all for the bag you were "really" after.

In terms of pricing, yes, ITL is more expensive.
Picotin 18 is currently €2320 and Picotin 22 retails for €2580 if I’m not mistaken. (Prices for Clemence leather)
ITL 18 Clemence/Swift I guess it’s €3.450
The 23 size is €3.650

I asked for a neutral P18 (like gold, gris meyer, plomb, bleu nuit, etc). Maybe I could change for a pop of colour.. maybe bambou? Lol
It seems like Picos are now scarce and "take what you can get".... in your original post you mentioned wanting a color that goes with your outfits. What colors do you tend to wear in clothes?
Hmmm, some highlights:
- Darker denim
- Lighter chinos
- Shirts in several shades of blue
- Shirts in red, orange
- A full rainbow of polo t-shirts
- A few casual pieces in many shades of grey
Maybe I am stuck with black and white in the head... Have very few pieces in these colours..
Since the pandemic (and working in tech) I am dressing even more casual... maybe the Pico would suit better in this case.
Second option is to buy some new pieces... don't think my black checker vans slip-on will go that well with the ITL ahaha
