I was offered this in gris meyer ghw and a pico 18 blue de prusse ghw. I chose the pico. I would’ve taken it if it had a strap though. My SA thought it had one that’s why she showed me one.

ahhh that's such a good idea! I was thinking about using a maxi skinny twilly as a strap.... I was worried a metal clip would scratch up the chaine d'ancre.I have the In the Loop 18. Love it because I can try to add a strap, unlike the Picotin. I found these on Etsy. I’m going to attempt to add a D-ring on one side and maybe the side with the attached buckle. Still trying to pick the perfect D-rings. Will try fashioning a shoulder strap with a twilly or one of my LV gold shoulder straps. Will post pictures if I’m successful!

I have been considering this bag in the larger size. Thank you for the great photos and review, it is much appreciated.Picked up this little cutie today! It’s smaller than I expected but plenty big for essentials. I wish the noir had contrast stitching, but I asked for a dark color since this bag does not have feet and I did not want the bottom to get dirty. I believe this is Togo leather with swift trim. There is a small card slot inside. The bag itself is unlined. The chaine d’ancre closure is very cute; however, I think I actually prefer it open. When it’s carried in the crook of the arm, it’s easier to access the contents without the closure hooked. I also think it may be possible to attach a bag strap to this to make it cross body. I’m going to look for something appropriate and try it. I don’t own a picotin so I can’t compare, but it is a size 18, so I’m assuming similar in size to the picotin 18. I tied my new twilly to the chaine d’ancre and she’s adorable with it. I think this is a fun little bag and I’m looking forward to using it!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it, what a great idea. Would you kindly post a link where we could buy these D rings, Thanks so much. You can DM me privately if you prefer.Successfully modified! See attached for some photos. I could fit a d-ring next to the Chaine d’ancre, but it was tight.

Awww! I’m terrible at mod shots. I was going to attach my LV Felicie Pochette gold chain to it. Full length for crossbody and maybe double up the chain for shoulder carry.Wow!!! Nice!!! Would you mind posting some mod shots? I’m definitely gonna have to try this!
You make totally valid points. I have the in the loop in black and I was the same- I asked my SA for it before it came out and she gave me the first one the store got in. I was super excited when I got it, and it is a cute little bag, but not super practical. I also asked for a dark color because I knew the bottom did not have feet, so I would imagine Nata would get dirty/scuffed pretty fast. I like to wear it with the sides out, which means the top is totally open, which is fine for when you're shopping and have it on your arm, but not so great when it's in the passenger seat!In the loop 18 Nata - Undecided, will probably pass.
I was waiting for this new style to land at my local and favorite Hermès boutique, and my wonderful SA put it on hold as soon as they got one. But once I saw it IRL, I hesitated. In my opinion, the price tag is too high for what the bag is offering (not lined, fragile, not a design that catches your eye, not very versatile either…). The bottom and handles are in Swift, which makes it difficult to wear it very often (specially in Nata). For me, its only appeal is that it’s an Hermès bag… So I will probably pass my turn and save the money for another bag.![]()
Thank you so much, this helps a lot! If the bag was not a new design, it wouldn’t probably have caught my attention. I’m not a bucket-bag person. I have two Birkins that I hardly ever use - despite the fact that I really love them -, and my no brainers are always small, cross-body styles such as my Constance 18 or Mini Lindy… I have texted my SA to let her know asap, so that the bag can make somebody else happyYou make totally valid points. Also, I did not realize this at the time, but even though it's a non quota bag, apparently it still counts as "getting a bag" so it also delayed my next quota bag offer! (at least in my local store, may not be the case everywhere.) So...I think you made the right decision... save your money for something you love.

Yes I did.For those with the bag, did you get a clochette sized dustbag inside? Is that to protect the chaine d’Ancre hardware - the thing that closes the bag at the top? Thanks!
