It might be possible to slip a long silk (ie, maxi twilly, etc.) through the leather loop, knot the ends and then slip onto the metal chaine d’ancre to form a shoulder strap, if desired?

Cute. Love the closure. But I think I like the slouchiness of the picotin more.
Agree! I like the closure and the fact it has an inside pocket. However prefer the slouch on the Picotin and that the Picotin has feet!
I was offered one in SF, and I honestly really liked it. I can definitely see myself owning it one day, and I like it more than picotin (but I was never a fan of picotin). I didn't bring it home though... Waiting for a bolide to show up

The little pocket inside doesn’t make up for the lack of feet. I prefer the picotin.

I got this bag from the hermes website. Thinking if i should keep it, seems like it will be a popular bag but it is more expensive than the picotin.
Picked up this little cutie today! It’s smaller than I expected but plenty big for essentials. I wish the noir had contrast stitching, but I asked for a dark color since this bag does not have feet and I did not want the bottom to get dirty. I believe this is Togo leather with swift trim. There is a small card slot inside. The bag itself is unlined. The chaine d’ancre closure is very cute; however, I think I actually prefer it open. When it’s carried in the crook of the arm, it’s easier to access the contents without the closure hooked. I also think it may be possible to attach a bag strap to this to make it cross body. I’m going to look for something appropriate and try it. I don’t own a picotin so I can’t compare, but it is a size 18, so I’m assuming similar in size to the picotin 18. I tied my new twilly to the chaine d’ancre and she’s adorable with it. I think this is a fun little bag and I’m looking forward to using it!
