but when ordering online, how do you know if the bag youre ordering is made in France ? Is there any guarantee ? Or you just get what is sent?

You don't. Its the luck of the draw. If you are in the US, certain styles, such as the Speedy, are very popular so it will more than like be made in the US. If you really want one made in a particular country your best bet is to buy it at the store.

When buying from elux, I enter 'made in france' in the search function, because I prefer France items I'm sure it doesn't pull up everything that is a made in France item, but its a fairly big selection. The best way is to buy at a boutique, I guess, and see it for yourself.

I got a Made in France Speedy 35 from San Francisco. I was suprised since all my previous bags were either Spain or USA.

Buy a new release, those are pretty much always made in France.
