This is NOT the same thing as spending extra to get a bag that will be an "investment" piece. We're clearly looking at a pet rock or cabbage patch kid phenomenon. It's just sad.

I am going to predict that because of the uberhype, Anya Hindmarch herself is going to become just as passe as a designer by this time next year. She's done it to herself. She cheapened her brand with this one thing, and the whiplash effect will not be pretty. We've seen it before. Hoodies. Uggs. Cadillacs. Beanie Babies.

Yes but Uggs, Hoodies and beanie babies wernt ment to be Enviromentally friendly this bag is. I don't get why if she wants it to be enviromentally friendly and then makes people jump in their cars at 3am and then use a car or whatever to ship it to someone else cause they are selling it on ebay. Wouldnt it be alot more enviormentally friendly if she just made loads so alot of people could have them.

I agree man - the first thing I can think of is W.T.F....

On a lighter note - you have to look at this auction - I don't know about you but I am laughing by arse off! :roflmfao:

LOLOLOL, people could do with a few of those. Tomorrow, Sainsburys are removing all their plastic bags for the day.

All the hype over this, is totally OTT. Anya Hindmarch, definitely made the most of saying she normally designs bags ranged between approx. £200-£1000. Made sure she got her plug in, for her high end stuff.

Personally, the equivalent Harrods ones are much nicer, probably dearer, but still do the same job. Probably made at the same location.

my housemate and I went to our local al 07.15...

they only had 27 bags and there were more than 27 people in front of us

we didn't get any bag but we had a good laugh! all the chavs in South London will have one now, ha! ha!
