the que started @ 5 a.m. at my store. i got there at 6.30 and there was over 100 people there. the waitlist on the anya hindmarch website reopens in may though!!!!!

Ladies, I'm so sorry to hear that those of you who woke up early didn't get the bags.
I agree with the others, the fact that only 30 bags were made available in each store just defeats the purpose of the so called "environmentally-friendly" bag.
Why make it so difficult to get hold of when it's supposed to encourage us being "green".
Right, I'm going to continue using plastic bags to show my sign of protest!! Lol.

I wanted one because I love the colour scheme - I asked my best best friend who is currently working in London to see if he can get them for me....
He left his place at 4:30 am dammit and when he got there they were already all lining up for them - the last number was passed out right when he arrived- I mean if it was meant to be environmental - then why are they making it so difficult....
I placed an order for the North America version - we will see how that goes - perhaps by the time it gets here the hype would all die down...

I think it's good that it's hyped. now people have it on their minds to get a bag that is not a plastic bag. and now that it's been so hyped, maybe it'll be *in* to have a bag that you bring with you instead of taking bags.
