I was a bit puzzled seeing the reactions to this post, as recently there was a post on the same kind of work done on a new Hermes bag (a Jige) and the reactions were overwhelmingly positive... Interesting that in general people react better to the reality of it than to the idea. Perhaps not my cup of tea, in terms of style, but I can't for the life of me understand why Chanel would have any problem with it and blacklist a buyer in the same way they might a reseller? Surely, this is precisely the complete opposite of a reseller, someone who owns her bag to the point of making it even more her own, I'd say Chanel would very much approve.
