I’m getting my Chanel bag painted!

My 2 cents: If you want that paint so badly, paint it on a cheep bag, such as a ALDO bag or something. So when you get tired of the pattern, you don't regret wasting your Chanel bag. If many years later you find your self still like the same pattern (which most of the time it will not happen), then you can put it on your Chanel.

Is your Chanel bag damaged? I had (or maybe still have) YSL Downtown tote that my local cobbler handled, right in front of me without permission with brown leather polish on his hands. A perfect beautiful ivory bag. He ruined it, and further ruined it attempting to undo his stupidity. I had to send it off to a specialist to attempt repair. It looked fine, but I knew it had put through the ringer, I was sick and angry. Anyway, I always thought to ask an artist friend to paint an image of some sort and just use it. But a perfectly kept bag, no. I need to see if I've sold it (with disclosure - I had listed to sell). I can't remember. But if I still have it, I'm revisiting the idea. Good luck and do share the results.

Thanks for the advice, but quite frankly, it’s more fun to ‘deface’ an expensive bag than a cheap one
