If you had to choose between these 2 bags, which would you pick and why?

or

Marc Jacobs Blake in tan colour (cocoa, whiskey etc)


Which would you pick? Why? If you own either of these bags, what are their good & bad points?

Can't help you w/ good or bads, but I'd definitely choose MJ...
The Paddington just doesn't appeal to me, MJ is way prettier!

The leather on the blake does not compare to the paddy. I have a choco and a whiskey paddy and the leather is divine. Thick and sumptuous.

MJ. I think it looks more classic. There are a ton of paddy replicas. Just my opinion.

I am not a Paddy fan. I never was. I don't get the whole lock thing. I live in NY and I see that kind of lock on chain link fences all the time. I don't want it on my designer bag. I do own two Blakes. One is black and one is in the denim color. I love the Blake for several reasons:
(1) it can be carried as a satchel or over the shoulder
(2) it has several compartments so it's easy to find things
(3) the leather is buttery soft and the craftsmanship is superb
(4) the price is not totally outrageous ... great quality for the price

I've never cared for the Paddington either. I think they are on their way out and look dated. MJ Blake is more classic, in my opinion. I have owned a Blake in the past, and I loved it.
