If you had a $10,000 handbag budget...

If you had a $10.000 handbag budget, how would you spend it?
Would you buy 1 uber expensive bag, or 2 - 3 very high end bags,
or many high end contemporary brand bags... like Dooney Florentine and Alto
or Coach better bags, or Tory Burch, etc. ?????

This is not a real world problem, and you don't need the money for the mortgage,
or student loans, or college savings, or a car or food, etc. It's a just for fun mental
exercise.

For me, a few high end bags YSL and Gucci and some contemporary designer like Coach, Kate Spade etc. I would never feel comfortable carrying around an Uber expensive bag especially with two small kids and the stick hands they usually have!

Depends if i already have other bags i really like & use or not.
I'm not the type to only like 1 ultra expensive item because i get bored of it.
So if i have no bags at all, then a few nice ones.
But if i have those covered then 1 or 2 luxe bags is nice.

Assuming I’m adding to what I own, I’d get one limited edition / limited run bag from a brand I already love and know (like Dior or Chanel) or from a brand I’ve heard can do custom / limited run bags very well.

This would probably take a couple of years because I may not like any current season offerings / options and have to wait a bit. And, I may have to put some $$ with the $10k to get it done.

I just went with it presuming the gifter was a bizarre but benevolent control freak that was reeeeeallly determined I would get another bag no matter what I said.
