If you could only by bags from one designer for life who would it be?

I have not owned one Mulberry yet, but I'm contemplating between Longchamp and Mulberry. I think I might go for Mulberry for the quality of leather as well as the timeless design.

I've had both. Longchamp's are great everyday bags and I think more economical. As you said Mulberry is fantastic quality and timeless design. I'm personally a big fan of Mulberry, but I think its probably because the Mulberry Bayswater was my first ever designer bag. It never came apart despite heavy use and luckily they still look good when a bit battered and stained :)

Vuitton for variety. But Hermes for staying power. I walked into an Hermes boutique for the first time the other day and the bags look ridiculously simple and yet, my heart's been captured and locked up with a palladium cadena with the key thrown away. The colours on the different leathers are breathtaking and the quality is amazing.

Wow. Really hard question. Probably Louis Vuitton. I actually love many other designers more, when it comes to aesthetics and design (Balenciaga smooshiness, ahhhhhh), but when it comes to just *fitting into my life* and being easy to wear and lovely to use (hi, best zippers and hooks anywhere) . . . LV is just so irreplaceable. Like, I cannot imagine life without my Neverfull. Can. Not. Imagine. When and if it ever gives out (or, more likely, when one of my daughters grows up and steals it), I will need another one. So, LV wins for that reason alone. Also, the Speedy. It's just a perfect bag that goes with everything and can go pretty much anywhere. They have a nice variety of materials, colors, and dressy/casual/professional bags, so it's really not a bad store to be confined to for life.

Interesting thread. I've given this some thought. If I had to only buy bags from one designer it would be Chloe. I like the ease and classy casualness of Chloe bags and the leather and craftsmanship is great! :smile1:

Like my username may suggest, I would say LV... I can also have some killer luggage as well! But I gotta sneak some Hermes, maybe some Celine, some Saint Laurent, some Goyard, and a few knick knacks from Dior and Chanel in those trunks... Gotta find something to fill up all that empty space! :graucho:

I suck at this game! I guess I am an equal opportunity labels buyer :)

(Assuming I have the funds).. my answer would be Chanel. I love the variety of styles they have and I love the aesthetic - girly, classy, flashy.. Just my cup of tea.

Stella McCartney. The bag I wear 95% of the time is my Stella McCartney Falabella. It dresses up a casual outfit, it's easy to wear, I don't have to worry about the weather (it can be washed with soap and water), and it's low-key. I would buy it in many different colors and styles. To date, it's my absolute favorite designer bag.

This is more difficult than I thought. I love so many designers.

Based on my current finances, it would be Gucci. Great value for such beautiful quality bags. LV would be a close second.

If money was no object, then Chanel or Hermes.

Frankly there is not one premier brand which can fulfill all my needs. I typically only like one or two styles from each brand. Currently I don't quite fancy the current selection offered by RM and Coach so if forced to choose only one brand I would go with Fossil. Sturdy, well made and reliable. Haha, it's a good thing there are no such rules in real life!
