Dear Forum,

I am new to mulberry bags and hope you Can help me. (Also i’m not quite sure how this Forum works or if its okay to post like this 🫣😅)

I was at a fleamarket today when i found these two beautiful bags in very poor condition - i bought them for 12 $.

i’ve searched models/numbers online, but being new to the brand i’m very confused. Can you please tell me if i was finally lucky and they are real?

P.s some images i’ve started to “renovate” them - and they have a new layer of black paint on some images. Also i haven’t cleaned hardware etc.

Welcome to the place for Mulberry fans. It's generally a bit quiet but you can access a lot of information by searching the forum.

In order to get items authenticated you need to use the correct subforum and follow its guidelines.

Without making reference to authenticity, one of your items looks like a Congo Hellier. If I'm right then you can use this listing on Mulberry Pre-loved UK for reference. Congo and other printed leathers are no longer used by Mulberry, so this is definitely vintage.

Everyone has their own refurb protocols but, if you are interested, here is a reference that describes how Mulberry recommended their leathers to be cared for. There is also an exhaustive care/refurb thread pinned to the top of the Mulberry Reference Library.

Hi there
I'm hoping someone can help me remember the name of this mulberry bag please - I bought it years ago and haven't used it in ages as I use my Walter for work instead but it's driving me crazy that I can't recall the name! Thanks

Hi there,

I'm completely new here - so sorry if I've posted this in the wrong section or not followed any formatting guidelines.

My Mum passed away in 2020, and it's been a good few years of clearing out her wardrobe. As a 17 year-old, now 22 - it has been a great challenge to decode Woman's fashion. She absolutely adored Mulberry, and had several bags most of which had tags or receipts for (so they were easily identifiable).

However, a few days ago I stumbled across this Mulberry bag (Pre logo change / Pre-2015) that appears to be a black clutch with a pressed logo on the front. I cannot find any information about it online whatsoever... and the identification number hasn't been much help either (to add to it, I can't find the tag). I was wondering if anyone on the forum might have an idea about the product range/ period/ or just any details?

I've attached a couple of images. Once again, apologises for the post - I'm just very stumped.

M :)

Sorry to say, it's a counterfeit.

Thank you. I was leaning towards that indication myself, as I had never seen it before - and compared with everything else it was the only one without tags or receipts. In addition, the ID number on the Brass Logo inside appears to be something commonly used by imitation bags. Such a shame, but glad I can bin it now. Have a lovely evening.

hello ladies, can anyone identify this model please? it reminds me of the ily a bit but with a different strap.

It's the Bayswater Shoulder Clutch from a decade-plus ago in their Lightweight Antique Leather.

The colour could be Sand. The strap is detachable so it can be used as a clutch, or a long strap can be clipped to the rings to convert to a crossbody.
