maybe this pochette never made it into production? I really would like to get this for my SO.... can anyone identify this clutch? it’s so hard to even find a picture of it...
I m pretty sure this Pochette was not produced. A smaller version in Monogram canvas with the Nemeth Rope print was released, but I think it was a Japan exclusive.E67D1EBA-3B19-42F2-90C6-3B4E2F7667B8.jpegPhoto borrowed from the Internet.

Not sure if people post date code locations... I am new to this. Anyway after searching I found the date code inside my Blanche, it is sewn inside the left inside pocket on the outside edge. Please let me know if this should be posted someplace else, just thought it might be helpful. Thanks

I do believe the name is Blanche. Sales receipt described it as Blanche and both European and United States websites say Blanche. However what's interesting is the SKU says Basace, there is no mention of Blanche. Along with it not being on the website until yesterday is what prompted me to make the original post. Oh so confusing!

Is it actually called Besace and the color shown is Blanche? And/or do they need to fire their copywriter?
The name shows Blanche (white in French), but the description does use the word Besace. @fabuleux mentioned that Besace means Hobo in French. It seems like LV likes to use multiple words to describe the handbags and they have used the term Besace with other bags, such as the South Bank Besace and Tuileries Besace. It just seems confusing when they like to use multiple names for one bag. And I don't know how the name Blanche came about.

Right. Even though Besace means hobo as a noun, LV has actually used Besace as a formal bag name, so I still wonder why they needlessly complicate the ad copy.

To keep us on our toes or make us crazy, take your pick. [emoji12]

But like I said before it is a little odd that the SKU says one thing and the receipt says another. Maybe they don't even know what it's called!
