Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone knows the name of this bag? The closest I got was "Sac Passy" or "Sac Vendome" but I'm confused because both searches bring this bag up on Google, as well as other bags under the same name...

Thanks in advance!

It's a Sac Passy (the name has been re-used by LV for a completely different style of bag, as they often do). The Vendome doesn't have the hook above the fastening and has a thicker piece of leather running down the middle of the bag.

It's definitely isn't fuchsia as that was 2003 and the Wilshire wasn't in production then. Rose Pop, which came in 2009, would be the most likely candidate. Vernis is very difficult to photograph so always hard to capture true colours. Hope that helps.
Thanks so very much!
Rose Pop makes total sense given those helpful details. I knew someone smarter than me would be able shed some light on my color question.

Hi all,
I saw this picture on Instagram, only a day old so figure it must be a bag still available, however I can’t find it on the website. Does anyone recognise it? Apologies for the poor quality, I cropped the original to just show the bag I’m querying...
thanks

Sorry but nothing "special edition" about it at all. It's a Recital bag where the vachetta strap has either broken or been removed and a monogram shoulder strap added. It's way over-priced, in my humble opinion.

Thank you so much! It's interesting, because I saw someone else on eBay with one that also had the monogram strap added. (I wonder how many people went to the trouble to add the strap.) But they didn't know the name of it either, and it was driving me crazy.

It was a short strap originally and it wasn't detachable so people either deliberately took if off to replace it with one of a more convenient length or replaced it when it broke. Either way, if you're after a long strap then it MIGHT be cheaper to buy the Recital in its original form and add a strap. Worth investigating anyway.
