Compared to the fantastic Bal chevre leather of my metallic edge mini-City, it doesn't wear as well - but few other leathers do. Compared to other metallic leathers, it wears extremely well. I think they made sure to use good leather for the Limited Edition.
The metallic effect is more durable than the one on my metallic navy bag. Mine has not faded, though I don't put a lot of mileage on any single bag. But I love mine, and I’d buy it all over again.Wow wow wow. Thank you! The one sold on YC is beautiful. I wonder if anyone here has experience with that leather and how it wears?
Let's see if the pricing will come down to a reasonable level 
The price coming down is one of the few welcome certainties on TRR. The only risk is someone else snapping it up. I’ve been stung by that many times on TRR.

@yuzulife Unfortunately, I had a different experience with my purple metallic City than the others, but it could've just been a lemon. My leather was super thin, wrinkly and was prone to fading. Loved the color but did not love the leather.
That being said, if this color is similar to as it pictured, it looks in much better shape than mine did.
I've had/have a few older Pewter oldies that were fab condition!

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe it was a bad batch of leather that slipped through QC.
I'm so sorry.Oh, an oldie Pewter! It's true that their leather quality was really high back then. Hope I'll get to hug a beauty like that in person in my future.
