I just bought one of these, in the large size, and loved it so much I rushed out and bought another one.

I think this one is the medium size Matelasse. The large one is very roomy and fits over the shoulder. This size is probably for hand carrying only. But they are so cute and so smooshy soft.

Definitely not. It collapses in on itself. If it’s not filled up, it won’t even sit up straight, despite its box shape. I posted a modeling photo yesterday, showing that it shapes to the body, as opposed to jutting out like you’re the UPS delivery man carrying a box. Though that’s the case with the large size. I have not handled the medium size.

Aaaaaaaaand, I just bought my third of these. I’m smitten!

Yeah you see it mainly stuffed. A problem with most styles I find.

this is what I’ve been thinking too. :facepalm: My reason for never taking the plunge is that i never noticed the big one, only the smaller ones. I always loved the quilting and leather but couldn’t envision carrying around a small hand held box. only recently I noticed the big one, and it fits nicely over the shoulder. Actually for a long time I’ve been eyeballing a newer version with a shoulder strap. That’s the one I finally purchased on VC only to have the clown seller immediately cancel my purchase.

It's not exactly part of the same matelasse moto line, and I've never seen it in the large. But I like this one because of the shoulder strap.

I don’t recall seeing that bag before. I like the older style better. It has more character.

Lol, that's what I get for being half a year behind on the What are you Carrying Today thread. Thank you for pointing out the reference pic, that bag looks awesome when carried just as it does when not, and you're assembling a nice little family of them! I'm dying over the colors of the two you just posted up above.
