My offer was accepted, so I’ll have a better idea once it arrives! I have both a RT and a Bordeaux to compare it with.. and what I believe may be a grenat day bag too lol. Still would love to hear their thoughts!
This is my Grenat, the leather is fabulous. I always say she is soft as a baby’s bottom!
There's an 07 grape/violet but the early tags didn't have colour codes.
Thank you! I trust the seller, and it is clear it is grape/violet, just not sure of year.
There are various purples but only the one violet before 2011. This tag was only in use until the end of 2010.
Just FYI: this seller is a high volume reseller and lists a lot of Balenciagas, some real, some fake. I don't think they do any vetting of the bags that come in and are not experts. Many high volume resellers have at some point been duped, but this one doesn't seem to have any quality control and lists some pretty obvious and low quality fakes alongside real ones. I'm not commenting on this bag in particular. It looks like a teal twiggy to me, but as @muchstuff says, hard to tell in this light. Ask for more pics, though when I've asked for them, this seller has completely ignored me. Good luck!

Yeah, I read the negative reviews. That's why I was surprised when they finally got back to me with a pic of the tag. I'll ask for another pic, but I'm not holding my breath. Thanks!
ok, I just noticed something so I'll add some clarifications and some more confusion:
This exact same bag, with the same photos, is currently listed by TWO DIFFERENT SELLERS on ebay. One of them has the crap reputation and poor reviews. The other one (more recent listing) has a solid reputation and I've bought from her before. It's the same bag now in two different listings.
Note that the prices are very different in these two listings. The more recent one by the seller with good reviews, has a much lower price and takes best offers.
I've noticed this happening over an over again with Japan-based resellers. I have even seen the exact same bag, with the exact same photos of the bag, simultaneously listed by 4 differed Japan-based resellers, at 4 very different prices.
I've noticed the two separate listings as well for one bag. In a moment of stupidity I actually bought one of those double-listed bags and it actually turned out fine. As pictured and authentic. But I wouldn't tempt fate again.
Even if this listing was legit, I doubt it's the bag I'm looking for, an 04 Teal.
