If it feels soft and you don’t see tell-tale vestiges of dye where it should not be, I’d say it’s fine. This color seems to photograph lighter or darker depending on lighting, so I’d say checking the texture and hardware should help your confidence. I have one that photographs very differently from one setting to another, so hue is not a great measure.
