Please help me ID this. Color is very dark pinkish burgundy. Color code is 6480, which according to my color code chart should be Coquelicot. But this is obviously much darker. Leather is hard to pinpoint as well. More chevre than agneau.

Do you have any more pics? The right buckle on bottom front looks like it might have some paint on it and to me the whipstitching looks like it might be painted but most don’t paint the interior tags or the zipper tape so I dunno.

I snapped pics of all the hidden parts of the leather, and they are all completely uniform in color. Even under the whipstitching and under the strips. The right buckle doesn’t look painted but the leather is smooth and unstamped in that small strip.

2011/2012 Holiday collection, the Rouge (Coquelicot) Hamilton (Grained Chevre) City bag with brushed Gold HW (regular-sized hardware).

Bless you CeeJay:heart:
oh wow! I bought this early this year and didn't know what it was all this time. I'm so pleased and excited to have a chevre rarity! The color is so beautiful, though nothing like coque.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your amazing research skills remain unparalleled.

My pleasure, it looks like a gorgeous bag and I much prefer this colour over the traditional coquelicot.
