Hey I would love some help as my searches are coming up close, but not the one. I got it from the flee market. Any information or clues would be much appreciated.

It's authentic. I believe it is a letter brief, made in the early 90s.

Hi! I moved this over here so we don’t clog up the AT thread. This bag was made prior to 1990 and it had a buckle closure with roughly the same measurements so that may have been coming up in your searches. Changing the hardware can definitely create confusion when researching the style.
I have one with a buckle closure that I believe is NYC. I wonder if it was discontinued for a year or two then reintroduced with the turn lock.

Is this one still up for grabs? It's definitely a Letter Brief, unless the catalog is wrong.

ETA - I see what caused the confusion - 2 DIFFERENT Letter Briefs. Below is the 1987 Letter Brief from the Holiday 1987 catalog, style 5210. The one posted above it is the 5270 Letter Brief from the Holiday 1990 catalog. So Coach used the same name for 2 different styles just 3 years apart. A reminder why names can't be depended on because Coach reuses them just to confuse us and see if we're paying attention

I don't have catalog pictures of any of these but I can identify #D as Legacy soft slim suede duffle, made in 2004. Since I only have a catalog for the leather version, I'm guessing at the exact name.

I don't believe it's authentic.

At first, I thought the case was a Chubby case, 6925. But after another look, I bleieve it's fake.
