That's it! Thank you! With the style number, I was able to search and I found that I did have that item in my records with the tag. My pictures were from November 2008 and it wasn't MFF.

Hi, all! I just saw this link strap and fell in love. I tried to buy the bag just for the strap, but turns out the bag is not for sale! But, can I find a strap like this? Item number? Was a strap alone sold by Coach? I was looking and looking online, but obviously not using good search criteria. Bought a strap on etsy: but still looking for this Coach strap.

If you want the exact strap then you have to find the bag that came with which is a 1941 Saddle 23.
Coach did make link leather novelty straps though. See below at the bottom of the pic:
I remember really wanting the purple one. I had totally forgot about it.
I used to want to 3 saddle bags but I got rid of them from my wish list because they don't have a pocket on the back.
Don’t really need an authentication, but wanted to post my “just now” purchase I snagged this red Janice Legacy (H2P-9950) for $65 (shipping included) on Mercari! After taking a year long plus break from buying any vintage Coach, this felt like a great segue back into it. I can’t wait to give this a bath and condition. ☺️

I just restored this vintage coach court bag I thrifted. To me, the quality is great and restored wonderfully, however, I have some minor doubts about its authenticity. It says made in USA, the serial # is 022-8116. There are consistencies between this bag and what I have restored before, except the coach tag is one sided. Some one recommended me to this thread, so any help is appreciated!

They did make it. It was called the borough bag. There were several sizes and variations.
