I really hope you get to meet them! It's so thrilling to finally meet people you watch on TV all the time. I'll admit that I used to have a little crush on Leland. He has the most adorable smile and dimples. And Beth is awesome. I love her outrageous style and over the top boobs. She could seriously kill with those! I loved it when they made fun of her on South Park and drew her with just boobs, a forehead, and hair. Darnit. Now I have to go look up Cartman the Hallway Monitor...that theme song spoof was hilarious.
I met Dog and Beth in the summer at one of his book signings. We were all on line outside the bookstore, and they drove up in a big black SUV. Beth was waving and yelling hello to everyone out the window. Once we got to meet them, and Dog signed my book, he was very quite but polite, it was Beth who was super friendly and chatty. I have to say her face was so much prettier in person than on TV, and I don't mean to say she's not pretty on TV, but in person her eyes just sparkled.

Let me think hard of one example........um let me see........out of the two, Dog's the only one that has a tape out there using the "n" word repeatedly.
I do think it is disgusting to label anyone a racist without evidence.

I hope I see him... Like at the beach! Imagine... The whole family there (ESP leland in his bathing suit!! Haha!) surfing... WITH ME! Hahahaa! I can always imagine!!

ehtahcee - aww i think it's so sweet that you want to email them before hand!! i've never visited or attempted to visit them but I hope you are able to!! Tell us how your trip went, I want to go back to HI soon!

As much as you may not like to see someone's opinion on a matter, I don't appreciate being told that ultra-liberals run this board, which is not true. I keep my political views off the board, so you really have no grounds to claim that I am an ultra liberal.
Sometimes we leave comments for a bit for others to see the issue. Sometimes we leave the comments for other people to set someone on track. Sometimes we miss the comments.
Political discussion is still not allowed here- is not always easy to make sure it is kept off leading up to election time- but we try. But please do say that you do not want people to be labeled when you do it right back.

If political discussion is not allowed, then why wouldn't a post like that be removed? This board is full of labels and I label people myself, so what, but I sure wouldn't label ANYONE a racist without proof. If you can't see that as a valid point, well then.......
I unlike some here can admit when I make a mistake or read a post wrong, but I haven't here. The post is innapropriate. I can handle opinions, even ones that are ignorant, I read them here everyday, that's not the point......You may not appreciate that I feel the atmosphere here ultraliberal, but when you chose to focus more on my posts instead of your rules and enforcing them, well.................

To all you that have attitudes.........it's very simple to explain if someone misread your post.
Not surprised you chimed in here.... You should have taken your own advice in the last thread you felt the need to comment on my post that had nothing to do with you. But, since I didn't misread that post, don't be so shocked someone if only me on this board has a problem with our president being labeled a racist in a post. He may be a lot of things, but racist, no.
Try reading my posts again.......the point is that political discussion per the rules is not allowed. It is more offensive to me that the post is left up than what the post actually says. Is it possible the judgement here is clouded? The fact is the rules here are not enforced with any consistency and this just proves it again.
I went to Hawaii last fall and stopped by the office, but they were not there. I went into the shop too and Tucker was behind the counter. He was not too friendly. My friend is affiliated with the business next door to them and got me an autographed pic of Dog and Beth. I would have like to have met them though. My husband took a pic of me standing by the door next to the daisy. I'll see if I can post it.
