Wow, I love this!!! It eliminates the need for a setting altogether. That is so dainty and gorgeous. I used to think the bezel set was the most flattering for a solitaire necklace but now I think that no setting is the sparkliest way to go!

This is a beautiful design - would you mind sharing the specifics? Meaning, the type of chain and setting (a picture of the side/back would be great as this looks different than other bezel type settings). The chain is very durable - snake chain 14 kt.
The diamond moves freely on the chain in a bezel design. I've never had a problem with either the bezel around the diamond or the chain. Bought in Dec of 2000. 1.02 weight
